man on the moon
I have a couple favorites of my Loyale. A wide shoulder in Nevada where I stopped to sleep. This was 6am or so, early light, cool weather. She just looks happy Same spot, looking forward to a days travels. Windshield shot, later in the day. The camera had a little trouble aligning the shots for the panorama (it is an automatic function), probably because I was moving. I only tried once as I decided not leaving the road in violent fashion was in my best interest. I got a ticket in Salt Lake City for parking 2.5 hours in this 2 hour spot. On a Sunday morning when no one was there. The two traffics behind me were moving and the panorama function had trouble with that, too. Apologies. And my other other OTHER favorite? My dog, trying to tell me it's his turn to drive:

man on the moon
I have a lot of pictures in the album I just shared from, one had no car, but did have lots of snow drifts and marshmallow trees. I saw fit at the time to include the comment "Snow at Donner Pass, CA. I was waved through a chain check station (with no chains) here. Thank you Subaru -" That was the first, but not the last time that has happened. Too bad it's always been night or I would have a picture of the cop waving me through. man on the moon
man on the moon,Which highway is that in Nevada? It looks familiar. I don't remember precisely, but much of the southern half of the state is in the Mojave desert. I don't think I had yet penetrated into the Sonoran desert as the first pic is close to Vegas. I took highway 395 to 95 from Reno to Vegas, but this was not on that highway; 95 had just enough traffic that I didn't like it, so I drove out toward the mountains, somewhere out toward Mt Charleston. If memory serves, it was somewhere in this loop off the main highway: http://maps.google.com/?ll=36.367116,-115.448456&spn=0.62147,0.924225&t=m&z=

Miles of nothing except for a car every once and a while.

Loyale 2.7 Turbo
Taken from the " Strange & Weird Subaru Stuff" thread, these are Old-School Subarus too: Subaru was a Lot more inventive and inmaginative in the Past, that made the Company to build Futuristic cars and Unusual Designs; but Now the Company seems to be more "Common" and less inventive. Remember the Days when Subaru Tried at the Formula One? I've Posted That already on This Thread before, but I just Discovered something New. That Formula one attempt done with the Subaru "1235" Flat 12 engine, was done with the Coloni italian Team, During years 1990 and 1991. But Subaru Tested a Flat Twelve engine with another Formula one Team, in 1988 and 1989: The Minardi: So, What Happened to the Production of the Subaru 1235 Engine? After Subaru Left Formula one, then had a Great Participation on the World Rally Championship; That Flat 12 engine went in a Non-Subaru Production Car: The 1989 Koeniggsegg,a Super Coupe I've Already posted that too, but the Point here is that the 1980's and 1990's Decades were Great for Subaru's inventive, but Now things seems very Different. Kind Regards.
Loyale 2.7 Turbo
More info taken from the " Strange & Weird Subaru Stuff Thread" The Subaru Flat 12 "1235" Engine went onto Another car: Do you Heard, Read, or Knew Anythin´ About the: Subaru Caspita? ... ... Well, before the McLaren´s Street Legal F1 Super Car, there was the Joint of Jiotto & Subaru, and This is the Result: Think on this Marvelous Super Machine, back in 1989 Even Toys of it where Made!:
6 Star
^^ Just think of where Subaru would be today if they made it in the Indy world. They have succeeded in wrc (until they were booted for no reason [jealousy ]) and currently have the top safety reports and consumer satisfaction, which is nothing new for them.
