  1. Picked up a JDM sti 5 speed, EJ22 longblock, and EJ205 complete with bad bottom end. Got the 2.2 and 2.0 torn down the 205 heads will be getting decked friday. Ill also be picking up a 2004 wrx bulkhead, ecu, and pedal assembly friday. He also has DW 2000cc injectors for sale at a decent price. I’m thinking that size is overkill even running e85

  2. some odd things can happen from 2 sources; frayed/shorted wires in the body-to-hatch rubber boot. and brake light bulbs or corrosion in the bulb sockets.

  3. my total guess, something has worn enough to allow too much toe-out.

  4. Remove kick panel for better access. From memory the last time I did a cable swap I didn’t remove the clutch pedal (I could be wrong though - I removed the pedal for the L cable recently), the driver’s seat certainly did not move out of the vehicle. Use a torch or some sort of light to brighten up that dark space - it’ll make work so much easier! Cheers Bennie

  5. Get a 4 wheel alignment. They will tell you what is out. Auto or Manual Trans? Torque bind could also be a problem if an auto. There is no camber on the rear. Aftermarket Camber bolts are available. I've also used smaller dia bolts on the top so I could manually adjust the camber when I put Forester struts on Impreza OBS.

  7. Alright guys thank you, I have solved the issue. It was both the PB and the cable. The one thing I learned from this is BUY QUALITY PARTS. Man the difference between the oriellys cable and the genuine Subaru cable is insane. Can you guess who is who?

  9. Likewise, I made my own tool for the job. All tool steel, 2 pieces welded together. Big wrench handle to apply a BFH to when needed.

  10. I made my own tool and it utilises all four slots in that nut device. I use a large adjustable shifter on it without any issues. Thereare pics of it floating around the interwebs. Too hard basket to find one on my phone atm. Cheers Bennie
