  1. Im willing to give away my original Hitachi carb that was on my 82 GL wagon. I have the Weber installed and have no need for it. I have a rebuild kit to throw in too. Just shipping is all I ask. Its from a EA81 engine.

It's really not that difficult. Try it. The radiator is just a matter of some hoses. The exhaust is just some welding. Any exhaust shop can handle this. Electrical.... that's usually the component that separates the men from the boys. The flywheel re-drill is simple and not at all "dodgy" as you suggest. Have done plenty of them. Very simple with a mill. Adapter plate is available from a variety of sources. And the reward for all this is nearly double the HP. Worth it. GD
  3. I have that fitting, but the smaller return line broke off. I have both pieces if you were to braise them together. I’d send the two pieces to you for cost of shipping.
  4. The coil pack has two coils in it along with transistors (ignitor) to fire the coils. The front two cylinders share the same coil and the two rear cylinders share the same coil, so two plugs fire at the same time. (wasted spark) Get a coil and plug wires from a scrap yard. You don't want an aftermarket coil. If you buy plug wires or spark plugs, get NGK.
