  1. Thanks Jez. Might try get a photo for you. I've just been reading your thread on the electric dual fan swap. Have ordered the Hyundai temp switches off rockauto and have a cheap 12" thermo fan plus relays and fuses coming. Will do the install on my omega first as that's currently just running a single electric fan and no mechanical fan. Gets a little warm at times at the lights... If it works well (which I imagine it will) I will also do the same on the Leone for more power and more coolness.

  3. Hey Nipper. Finally figured out how to change display settings for tire pressure from metric (factory set) to standard! I was in FWD mode (Fiddling While Driving) the other day and by mistake started hitting the paddle shifter instead of the "i" selector for the display settings DOH! Note to self: the 2019 does not like first gear at 30 mph. Note to self (2): Read the friggin' manual

  4. Don't open the dual sunroofs. Just leave them be. The less you use them, the less they are likely to fail. Leaking isn't the problem - it's when the plastic mechanism's fail or the motors fail that's the issue. Very difficult to replace - even the dealers typically won't do it unless the customer buys a new assembly - which is likely no longer available. Mileage seems a bit low for a non-Outback. GD

  5. Beware the poor quality oil used by the dealers for their "free" oil changes. Also the oil change kids at the dealers regularly leave the drain plugs and filters loose. Double check that stuff. GD

  7. Secondary Effects of this Setup: SOUND: Since There's No Mechanical Fan, there's no Noise from that... I've never imagined how Noisy that fan was untill I Removed it: The EA82's Boxer Rumble sounds Clearly on Low and Medium RPM's like Never Before; the engine's Sound becomes more Solid, like an impreza Somehow... FUEL USAGE: I've Noticed a Fuel consumption Drop, but I'm Still not sure about the real Amount; it is Small but noticeable for Sure. A/C: This twin fans improves a li'l amount the Coolness of the A/C Performance: Two are Better than one! ENGINE PERFORMANCE: Better Throttle Response, faster acceleration and other minor advantages. MAINTENANCE: Now becomes easier to work on that fans and also in the Area nearby, like to servicing the Timin' Belts. All that let me Think Why I didn't this setup Before? It seems complicated reading it First, but is very Simple once you're Doing it; the Harder part was to Find the Proper Replacements and figure out the Wiring, but I've already tell you how, here; in this Writeup. I Hope this can Help. Kind Regards.
