  1. Regular WIX. But not for any good reason besides the regular ones being so good and my unfamiliarity with the XPs.

  2. Wix. I’ll run others too but it’s wix if I care and they seem respected by a good cross section of folks. editable content is tricky with varying opinions and anecdotal experience. You’ve been on other forums, I don’t need to explain that lol.

  3. TSB 07-179-20 This bulletin announces a design change made to the PRG control module. This change is in response to a limited number of customer concerns regarding the vehicle’s battery becoming discharged after the rear gate is left open for an extended period of time. The discharge occurs because current PRG control module logic keeps CAN communication active. Logic changes have been incorporated into the new module to allow the CAN system to “go to sleep” after a period of time to prevent current draw and optimize operation of the PRG system.

  4. I have no where near the experience Ido has, but I bought pads on clearance once that were noisy and had terrifyingly worse stopping distance. Had to dump them after only a coupla months. I will only use name-brand ceramic or, maybe, StopTech street performance or w'ever they call them now on the WRX ( Para-Aramid composite )

  5. Wish this board had a photo reduction gizmo so I could easily post a pic. But enough crying here we go ... 0411 06160 is the p/n for the screw which a quantity of 8 are required and showing as being used in the tailgate hinge. Also requires 8 lock washers with them. Washer p/n 0340 06000.

  6. On the oil change: That's the plan, and as much because that'll help flush whatever bits of the old bearing metal remain in the passages. I tell ya, I had the block run through the washer at a local engine shop and I scrubbed the oil pan first in my cleaning tank, then in the kitchen sink with soap and water, and then ran it through the dishwasher - and there were still teeny little specks of metal in there that I could wipe off with my finger. It was exactly like the bad old days when strippers didn't get arrested for physical contact with the customers and though you could wash off the whipping cream you'd keep finding glitter in your beard no matter how many damn showers you took... at least, that's what I heard from other guys...

  7. Talking about the front strut mounts. They were like that in the box. Looks like they didnt get a good bond when they were made.
