  1. I kindly ask that you make sure the headlights are positioned correctly after this mod... Its bad enough that modern cars are legally running around now with LED, Halogen, BeDazzling Blinding Bling lights. Its great, you can see where you are going... just don't blind me in the process... P.S. Added photos to my first post

  2. Yes, dash has to come out for that repair. Talk to the dealer, they should make it right.

  3. Not the best fix but you can refurb crush washers. Anneal them by heating cherry red and dropping in a bucket of water. Then use sandpaper on a flat surface like plate glass, and flatten both sides.

  4. Thanks mate! Unfortunately the vinyl didn't quite stick to the fronts where plastic bends out slightly, but they still look way better than they did! It now has a flat battery though. I wonder if the dual fans have killed the alternator... Was a warm day the other day and they kicked in a few times. Kept the temps down nicely though!

  5. Thank you all for quality information! I am currently in progress of stripping down my car, taking out the drivetrain and cutting up the body to scrap (its super rusted and ive broken rear end 3 times so far, always wanted to build a tube chassis car). I got to finish up another project and then i can start working on the tube chassis and suspension, engine mods won't probably happen until winter time, but i will be making a new build thread once ive made some progress.

  6. runt he impact in the TIGHTEN direction a little, then loosen, maybe alternate a few times - just to see if that helps bust it loose. A little heat, followed by carefully (no fires please) spraying with penetrant could work. as it cools, the penetrant may get pulled in deeper. just a coupla ideas.

  7. Feel free to come over and do Ruby Scoo’s door trims. You can see the dirt and dust in them from the various trips we’ve done! Your trim work with the vinyl looks tops mate Cheers Bennie
