  1. So I am now the proud owner of 3 old Subarus... Not sure how this happened as I really wasn't planning on buying another at this point, but I couldn't pass up this vehicle. It's a 1980, NZ new, very last of the first gen Leone. 4 door sedan. 1600 DL but has been upgraded with the GL dash with tachometer. Needs a bit of panel and paint work but all there and all straight. Was a Wanaka car from Central Otago so about as good as they get rust wise. Has some awesome patina. Also came with a trove of parts including essentially two complete engines disassembled, two parts gearboxes and a brand new clutch. Unfortunately the driver's door handle is broken and door is stuck shut. Need to pull the door trim. Also need to fix the headlight high/low beam switch for the WOF. Does anyone know if Datsun 510 external handles fit? They look pretty similar. Otherwise I've heard gen 2 handles fit. Enough talking, here's the pics

  2. It all depends. I leave for work before the plows take care of the roads. The snow drifts are my biggest concern. I had an 03 forester that I've almost burried several times. Luckily id always make it threw without stopping completely but i dont want to be in a snow storm trying to unburry myself when the next half awake bozo comes bursting threw the snow drift im stuck in lol plus my back isnt as strong as it used to be. If i could put my snow blower up top i definitly would ha

  3. Thank you so much @555jay. Between that and tracing I think I've got it figure out. Here's the digi dash pinout for anyone interested. I'm working on a table of connections that I plan to try that I will post once I've tested it.

  4. Been checking your oil level recently? Doesn't take much oil to make big smoke (in my experience, @ least) so it may not be enough to register on the stick. I'd vote CV or VC...:-)

  6. Thanks for the info. I think ill just go with oem parts and get what i get. I dont expect my handleing to go back to where is was before the lift but something is better then nothing. Ill just be disconnecting the sway bar when offroading anyway. No sence in upgrading when ill only use it half the time ha
