  1. yeah, sort of clipped in. I think ( only did this swap a few months ago, and I think??!!) I tend to slid fingers along cable to the back of the speedo head and feel for the clip(s) and to spread fingers splayed out and pull on cable outer at same time. I undo the two 12mm headed bolts to lower steering column after removing steering wheel for better access

  2. yeah, get different eyes on it. Hard to say if it's time to let it go. What would you get? an unknown used car?

  3. Welcome. You have two cool cars... why not make it three? We are biased here, but I'd say you couldn't go wrong with the DL wagon, unless they want your arm and leg in exchange. It will be a nice daily driver for you and sip the gas slower than your EJ engine cars when tuned correctly

  4. It sounds like you need some good Subaru eyes to diagnosis it. The current shop doesn’t seem familiar enough to figure it out. And the info you’re giving us is hard to piece together. grab all the tie rods and vigorously shake them with all your weight and muscle. Do they have play or make noise? Describe the noise or symptoms very specifically with no additional details What is the sound like, when exactly does it do it or go away? Straight turning left or right coasting downhill idling uphil accelerating is it repeatable or not… Tires wearing poorly and uncentered steering wheel are probably alignment.
