  1. Broken right front axle at the outer end. Not used to this happening. Yeah I can carry on with reasons/excuses why it takes me so long to get to things like this - sometimes. To cover my insecure backside I will say - life gets in the way ! Sound familiar? Cheers! And I’d like to thank whoever is in charge of the weather this winter. Let me know where to leave a tip.

  2. I always found it easier to to change out the complete hub, but that's in Rust Free Colorado.

  3. rent a hub tamer kit? that is one job i actually dont mind paying someone to do... on the old GL/DL models the bearings were easy to do yourself, but the newer ones, not so much...

  4. On my 2002.impreza I just pull the knuckle and use a harbor freight bearing tool. I hit it with a sledge a few times after heating the knuckle and it pops out. Freeze the new bearing and it falls right in. Still a pain in the rump roast though.

  5. Heuberger Subaru in Colorado Springs - I've bought many parts from them. Good discount off the counter price. Buy Subaru Parts near Me | Auto Parts near Castle Rock, CO (bestbuysubaru.com) They use to have their own parts website but things have changed. Same discounts but now its only on parts that are shipped. I can't order online and then walk into the counter.

  6. That billet knuckle!! It would be sick to make a billet EA swing arm with the EJ bearing setup to make rear disc swaps easier, then we could legally (in Oz) and easily upgrade the tyre size to the same as the forester without major complicated engineering testing we require over here. But that would be Uber expensive to make up, hence why it’s not done. Keep the good work coming! You have this going in no time! Cheers Bennie
