I don't bother with those NOIDs myself. Injectors are supplied with 12VDC full time whenever the ignition is on and the negative side is what is switched (connected) by the ECU whenever it is time to deliver a burst of fuel. I simply use any 12V test lamp that will probe the two connector socket pins and then watch for the pulsing light when cranking the engine.
Forgive that this demo uses a Honda engine but this guy explains injector powering and several ways of testing quite well.
