  4. Hmmmmmm.......NO thanks! By the way, is anyone going to Firestone this Friday? Thanks, Kurt
  5. Sorry! I was running behind, and I didnt get there until a little after 10! But I will be back, and when it gets a little warmer, everyone can go for rides in that back of the brat! Kurt
  6. Yes, let your friends Subaru live on in other Subarus! In a way, the crashed car will live on! Kurt
  7. Was she a 2-door, 4-door or wagon? Its always tought to hear of another one leaving us! Our thoughts are with you in this period of mourning. Kurt
  8. Good luck on your exhaust gaskets! Morgan, that would be great if you could pm me some diredctions and even your cell # in case something comes up. Thanks! Kurt
  9. Any room for a non-lifted BRAT up there tonight? I would like to see how everyone is coming on their Subarus! Where is everyone meeting exactly? Thanks, Kurt
  10. In my opinion, its just one of the many things that make the 80's subarus so unique! From the tire in the engine compartment, to the tinker-bell, theres nothing else out there quite like them! Kurt
  11. Well, I have found that the tinkerbell, horn and clock are all on the same fuse. I replaced my fuse, and brought tinkerbell back to life. Still sounds a little muted, I may have to try the trimming of the module. As to why your tinker bell and dome light dont work at the same time, I would have to suspect your door jamb switch. I think they get corroded and do not make a good ground. Just a thought! Thanks everybody! Kurt
  12. I want to fix it because I get a kick out of it!:-p Does anyone know what commonly goes wrong with these to make them stop working? Thanks, Kurt
  13. NO, this is not an ad for a lost cat, nor am I looking for fairys. I am refering to the pleasnt "tink-tink" noise my car used to make when I left the keys in it. It is a 1985 Brat. Is there a common problem that ussually causes "tinkerbell" to go mute? A fuse maybe? Thanks for the help, Kurt
  14. Were the Justys called "Justy Tanto"? HAHAHAHAHA! Okay, I guess its not as funny when you laugh at your own jokes. Kurt
  15. Sweetness! We will have to have another minnesota meet and greet so we can see her in person! Kurt
  16. Man, that thing looks cherry! BUT, pictures can be deciving. So, my advice to potetial ebay vehicle buyers to to make sure to check the vehicle out in person before bidding. That way, you can hear it run, maybe drive it, see what the underbody looks like. Play it safe and don't get stung! Good luck, Kurt
  17. Does anyone have any idea of a date that would work? It might be easier for everyone to plan. Also, it might not be a bad idea to get some camping spots reserved? Just some ideas. I am deffinatly looking forward to it! New toy to show off! Kurt
  18. Boy, thoes Brat wheels really stand out! Is that your doing, or did the past owner paint them? What year is your Brat?
  19. If your interested in doing the 4wd swap, I have an 1984 4wd wagon with a rough body. Mechanicals are in great shape. Very cheap, but in Minnesota. P.M. me if you would like to wheel and deal, or if you have any questions! P.S. It is even siver! And rust.:-p
  20. As cool as off roading would be, I place my vote for Iowa. I think it will be more central, and I would like to meet as many members in person as possible! Just my opinion, Kurt
  21. Dumb question, but what is the advantage of hydro lifters? Thanks, Kurt
  22. DO you have a part number for those? Or which year of Chevelle they fit? THanks, Kurt
  23. I would have to suggest motor mounts. I know they crack and rot from age.
  24. I would be up for something in Iowa, but it all depends on my vehicle situation at the time. If I dont have a lifted rig by then, maybe I could just come down and ride the trails with someone else. Otherwise sounds like alot of fun! Kurt
  25. Does anyone know what size the tension pin is on the doj side of a cv shaft on an ea81 with manual transmission? Thanks, Kurt P.S. I know, its a run on sentence, but what the hey, it's Friday!
