  1. Are there any other chrome bumpers from any other years/body styles that will fit on an 82 Brat? Mine has a dent right in the middle. I like the look of the chrome bumper and I'm looking for a replacement.
  2. There was a Brat that sold on eBay recently that had 340,000 miles. I ran the VIN on Carfax, and it confirmed the mileage. That is the most miles I have ever heard of on a Gen 2 Brat. My goal is to break 340,000 miles with my Brat...only 208,001 miles to go!!
  3. It will show up sooner or later. I'm the manager of Loss/Prevention (Security) for a major retailer here in Spokane and I've had to deal with a few vehicle thefts from our parking lot. The police say that "wanna be gang-bangers" or meth heads will usually use the cars to commit other crimes or just use for transportation until it runs out of gas...then they ditch it. Unfortunately, when it shows up, it will probably have the stereo ripped out along with a bunch of trash all over the place.
  4. Jonas, looks very nice. How many miles do you have on that thing now? Are you looking to sell it anytime soon?
  5. I want one of these...Northguy, did you get any more info from Jerry?
  6. I guess now it's considered an older car, but my 1995 Subaru Outback had the hill holder.
  7. So....which one would you recommend for an EA81 wagon? The DGV (manual choke) or the DGEV (electric choke)? I'm looking to buy one (new) and I'm not sure which one to get, and where to get it from...
  8. Thanks guys for the replies. Caleb, on my 84 GL wagon, I started stripping the bolt with a 21mm brand new wrench. I remember using the 21mm on my 82 Brat and it worked fine. I'll try the 13/16 and see if that is a tighter fit.
  9. I thought the 82 Brat had the single headlight system...at least my 82 did.
  10. My account is now expired. There might be someone else on the board with an open account.
  11. Maroon, Carfax keeps saying that the VIN # you are supplying is invalid. By any chance, is the car that this VIN belongs to older than an '81? If it is, then it won't be in the Carfax database. Derek
