I just got an 06 outback in the Auto. has higher miles. Will see how it is when it arrives. wish you luck too. From what i see, the 05 had a few smaller things. 1. Passenger side seat, the seatbelt warning sensor had a recall and it costs like 50 bucks to fix it at the dealer. 2. the side curtain airbags on the early 05 models had a rcall that they fix for free i believe, it involved the faulty bags not inflating fast enough in accidents, so they switch out the bags for you to a newer bag that inflates properly when needed. 3. not sure, but i think the tire pressure monitoring system in the 05 had hiccups too. 4. Door speaker quality issue for radio, speakers stop working at random, faulty manufacturer. hopefully nothing more on.

sounds like common sense and liability concerns. They are somewhat correct? You could ask them to locate some 15" rims in that bolt pattern instead , and then they will see why. We have no choice really until a 27" tall tire in 13" is made.

go to parts store, buy new belt. Take off old belt and cut in half throw in trash, its glazed and will never be right. Put on new belt no noise.

could use a cheapo dishwasher..maybe off craigslist. the hot water is what steam cleans it, detergent breaks down the soiling. Do not put in your kitchen dishwasher, will not be good on family life.

In Colorado, it should pass the tailpipe test, heck all cars in CO pass that test, they just need your money. I wouldnt worry too much about it failing. The only thing i've sen fail in CO is a leaky gas cap.

My subaru factory manual in the glovebox says to raise vehicle turn the adjustment nut.

guys/gals, does tighten the torsion bolt adjuster increase or decrease height, the manual does not say the direction of turning and what it does. Manual should say tighten to ??raise loosen to lower???? tighten to lower???loosen to raise??? and it says nothing on direction, i have looked.
