I stay away from Shell myself as they have seriously messed up gas sending units in the past. I wont touch them -
What to sell brat for?
bheinen74 replied to c0r3f1ght3r's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
You could sell the weber for around 200 and you could sell the topper for about 200 as well. Then you could start bids off on your brat at 800 on ebay and probably it would sell for that or more. -

does anyone else on here bid on these nice ones or am i the only one? I see people on here all the time asking for the nice clean low mile ones, but then they never want to pay what they go for. I do pay for what they go for and try to get more. If they are nice, i will try to buy them. do you try the same, or no. if they are nice and cheap, buy it, otherwise move along and complain that they are going for too much, maybe cause i am bidding that much. I won't touch or consider a car with more than 3 mods on it. that is the most i can tolerate, and that goes to the stereo even. It needs to be stock for me. Stock is reliable, replaceable, maintainable, with factory parts. otherwise, you are on your own to keep going. -

no worries. the last time i lost an auction on here was the 1994 SS. I bid 1600 and got beat by a 1750 bid. And the result of that auction is now I have the car as seen here. I had to buy it from the guy who outbid me and after he fixed the damage. oh well and i fixed that one too; put the RIGHT wheels back on and the RIGHT exhaust; can be seen now here also took off the stupid window front tint strip on windhshield, and got the car back to a straight front control arm etc. kid who i got it from after auction did the body work but he failed to do the front control arm sold it to me with a tacod control arm but sold as fixed lol. whatever, i remember bidding on the wrecked car knowind the control arm was bent back, and then the seller said it drove good lol. pull etc when bought from him he was sucky. I also installed mudflaps back on the car. drr, need them. you can see in the pics, i fixed my back deck FAIL from who i bought it from. It didnt' even have step railis when i bought it, i had to put them on the steps, also the rear deck was too hight for the storm door to open over in a snow, so had to lower the deck, and then finish puttin up railing. I hate people who do stuff wrong. -

cancel. I won auction. but auction comes back says they denied my bid, even though i paid the deposit and was the only bidder, even though they had no reserve. tonight went back up to auction again. I bid again more than last time, and then 2 others jumped in on bidding. Someone from Penns and some one from New York, and they outbid me i couldnt live bid this time. Good luck to the new yorker, I bet you will see this car on ebay shortly. -
Do you know that if a hacker hacked into the on-star system, or the Sync system, that hacker could autostart all the cars on the planet that run with that system? How many would die if they had parked in an attached garage. I will yank that system out of any car that had it. But, I am sure the system is secure, just like any Microsoft computer is entirely safe from hacking What, you can start your car from your smartfone? cool, anybody else can too with a little work. Cool right. And remember if the system malfunctions it will cause a no start or leave you stranded. Why take that chance. Hackers can just as easily do the cutoff and make your car not start too. Fun right. IF you buy a start system, research as much as possible, many many research hours to get one that is safe and has auto shutoff after 5 minutes, etc. Do not go for a el cheapo wal mart special or ebay special. Get something from a manufacturer who makes OEM ones. Sure, it will cost alot, but it may save a death.

If you park in a attached garage, or ever will park in one, I have to strongly argue not to do this. The aftermarket ones can kill you. Imagine this, your car is parked in the attached garage, and somehow the button gets pressed or malfunctions starting the car, and then you don't wake up. They are bad in aftermarket form.

well, on a SVX, there are two connectors to switch the climate control from Celsius to F. Is there such connectors that can be changed on the digi's ?

John. you will want to hit wrench n go in Des MOines. they have a 99 outback wagon there, trans and engine still in car. car was just put on the lot this week. I already got the good non broken rear cupholder, weatherband, alternator, starter, and all the other new parts that were on the car. everything else looked good. car was showing 243k on the odo and there was no rust, good clean body. looked like it had failed headgasket was why it was there both front foglights were chipped in the lense. many good parts left.

so would it be the toy is overpriced, or the cars are being underpriced? -

cheapest way is to get spare key(s) made when you buy a car and tuck the spare key under your bed. cost, 1.89. price saved, about 75. please sticky this before my ban. They used to teach this stuff in drivers-ed even. Why don't people get it?

Why, do you thing a 85k mile engine needs to be rebuilt? I don't get it. Would like to know more about the "test drive books"
