  1. It looks kinda like a cat crawled up on the driver headrest, and died, and is now bloating.......
  2. this should be moved in the off topic section.
  3. i think even though the vacuum hoses are new, you probably forgot to hook one up somewhere....
  4. ^ in the last pic, battery terminal is not connected correctly:grin: okay, yeah that is strange no fusible link box. hmm. my bet is the coil no go. plus it looks like a wrong coil? never seen one like that
  5. tKYB is the oem equipment manufacturer for Subaru. . unless you have spec B and then its bilstein. not sure on Sti. my experience with the Kyb though, is the silver paint is very thin, and cheap, and mine got rusty looking after a couple winter months. subaru must have a better grade of paint spec'd on the oem version, they are black and more durable paint. I would suggest to paint over the silver with spray paint before installing to make them stay looking new.
  6. ^ thats a deal. now look what kinda deal we can get here in my neck of the middle of now-where http://desmoines.craigslist.org/ctd/1292042978.html
  7. at least the snakes will stay out of it. nice way to gain some extra space.
  8. if you have good engine, check this out http://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/1293050927.html
  9. my cheapest place i have bought KYB from is ajusa.com check them out and compare.
  10. ah, that is a standard wear item. jk. did it break under normal driving situations, or was it beaten on terribly/
  11. http://kansascity.craigslist.org/ctd/1290815610.html maybe Guido has too many things wrong with it...
  12. that small of spot, maybe 125. How are you going to request fix, remove, neutralize, bondo glass, paint? that would be about 125, and I recommend to do that. By the time you have the other side do the same, you can repair it again. Cheaper than new metal.
  13. bump for I ? may be in. I will just avoid / or park my rig for the nasty stuff which will harm my BRAT. Still thinking about this. It would be fun, but I don't want my Brat sitting there beat up, or broken down, so I would have to just do a little bit of it. Or, how would rescue wagon do if i put a welded diff in? okay, or not the right tires? at least that one i wouldnt lose out on damage really.
  14. before you get started on repairs, lets get some info or better yet pics of the front frame rails underneath, as well as back by the shock mounts into the wheel wells. On the door, since its not rusted, i would use filler and get it straight, instead of buying a replacement door, unless you can get a good replacement cheap. If you do replace it, I would buy that dented door off you next time i come to CO.
  15. It’s a winning model perfected by its new step-parent Toyota, which makes this revelation of suck all-the-less surprising.
  16. not sure one would want to use rafters on the ej22t motor, that sucker is quite heavy. ea no prob,
  17. any updates on this. 5 minutes, thats not bad.
  18. something other than white. my whites tend to get grease stained dirty in a few times wearing them.
  19. I have 1 car with the heater there, the EA81 rescue wagon. And I saw a car in the junkyard with the block heater same location. that is where they put it.
  20. i might suggest that after applying the pb blaster, to let the engine run to gets some heat in the block, and use a small punch/hammer and "jar" the plug nd spry more pb blaster. The heat and jarring should allow it to soak into the threads more. spray a few days on this.
  21. what kinda of swap is that? ej to ej hmmm, did that even affect the AC
  22. i checked the rear diff, was not an lsd but think was a 3.7 had push button 4wd on lever rear window wiper was missing the blade.
  23. it had 3 wagon wheels on it was an automatic, and clean inside. the axles boots were crap
  24. man this is the pits.. hope you find another to replace it with. I would attempt the repair using a come-along and some patience and something solid to attach the come-along too. Get some flat steel and use bolts nuts and washers to anchor it to the sheet metal and pull in a few different areas, a little at a time it will pop out pretty good.
  25. it was a dark red, and it still had 3 wagon wheels on it, still had the plastic retainers for center caps....tires shot. clean inside.
