  1. last row theres now a ea82 wagon. it has a radiator, but not sure the inlet for hose in good on it, it had orange goeey sealant around the hose inlet...
  2. Just puttting this out there, take it how you want, but these are probably made in China, will not fit well, and will give you problems in a year or so, may be even melt or cause a fire, or will leak when it rains, etc. Plus the light output when its dark will be subpar, inferior to the oem output. . Your money is better spent buying some new ones from Subaru. Print this thread and and refer to it when that time comes. basically almost all aftermarket lights are classified as Garbage, and its money might as well thrown in the trash... It is a learning experience that will just take its course.
  3. Unfortunately, we were not able to acquire 2003 SUBARU BAJA. The final price of $3700 was higher than your offer.:dead:
  4. I am sure there will be a reason for people to come to Iowa now. For 1, if your a BRAT lover, you gotta see this. We should have a mini meet again in DM somewhere, sometime before we get crap weather, remember the last meet it rained, and the one before snowed.
  5. mines ready to see action now with the weber. lets go see what they can do.
  6. Did you put in a OEM subaru knock sensor? Or cheap autozone type replacement? Was it installed with the 15-16 ft lbs?
  7. the material cost of you buying the oil will be roughly 18 bucks total or so, give or take shops S**k I like the cheapy $2 metal hog pans from the farm home auto stores to drain the used into...then funnell into a milk jug for off to recycle place.
  8. well vehicle truck in pic 1 qualified for cash for clunkers, so not sure you got a great deal or not. is this a Impreza? they go for 15,900 brand new internet pricing (yes msrp is in the 18g level). so take your ford for 4500 credit on the cash for clunkers, you could have been in for something in the 11,000 price range out the door..???
  9. Jerry DeMoss offered up head shaves and port services a while back so he is the best bet for getting info.
  10. oh, and if the connector looks good, look for signs the wire is getting bent/broken where the door closes......
  11. oh boy. I saw the 2010 outback with CVT at a dealer saturday man that thing is HUGE. TOO Huge. I don't like that big of car. its a truck/suv now, not a wagon. It's tall, the front is high in the air reminds me of a mini van. cross that one off MY list. Makes the Forester look tiny.- i hope i get this Baja, its a lot more my taste
  12. I would suggest pull the door panel off that door that has the roll up problem, and look at the contacts of the connector on the motor.....if they are dirty, or corroded, clean them up and put some di-electric grease on the connector. I am not familiar with that new of outback, but the connector sometimes is not behind the door panel, but rather at the hinge portion of the body. Some are behind the door panel though, and some are near the hinge but body side..
  13. after you throw on a heavy rear receiver hitch bumper, a full size spare, and whatnot, it will be enough.
  14. A lift will be in order too.... gotta wait to see. my last experience with this auction site, I had to come up with a higher offer, so i did, then still lost. its a broker, that will take my winning offer, to the auction or something of the stupidness such. Will know more monday lol
  15. good luck ben, that place is a joke, they will probably tell you your motor is blown....or if they get a chance, will make it become blown to sell you a car that they add money to the msrp. they sometimes give the old radiator story too. "those radiators are about 600 retail, so we will charge the 575 to give you a deal"
  16. I am the high auction bidder on a salvage Baja with 5mt. What does this mean? I could become owner of a Baja if they accept my offer or I will not be owning this Baja if they refuse my offer. This would be what I would put my EJ22T in.
  17. i would say door bottom seals too. or else your floor pans have holes in them somewhere. Also check to be certain the gas tank/ access cover plate hasnt gone MIA.
  18. this one time, at a junkyard, I found a automatic tranny and the gear oil was full of antifreeze......so people really do screw this up.....
  19. best way to describe the 2 drain plugs is the ATF drain plug is on the bottom side of a black metal pan up under center part like under the shifter part of the bottom of the car and the gear oil drain is located on the aluminum finned portion of the transmission more towards the engine crossmember and steering rack
  20. the front diff, gear oil i think is 1.7 liters....? and that is filled on the passenger side, the right side of the car short dipstick tube right at the housing The ATF fluid is going to probably be 4 qts or around that. Its the LONG dipstick tube on the driver side, kinda where the starter, brake fluid and heater hoses go along. If i re read my post on this thread on #2, I am glad i asked the last sentence.
