  1. http://s405.photobucket.com/albums/pp132/bheinen74/82brat%20pics/ what is not available now: cyclops unit, power button T-tops rear hitch some bed chrome Everything else, we can talk.
  2. why do you think your rear diff is bad, they rarely ever go bad, but rather a lot of times torque bind, etc, shutter, people think it the rear diff, but it is really the rear clutchpacks, center diff of the tranny..... you might be in a world of hurt with this " it was advertised as fitting 95-99 Impreza/Legacy 4EAT." yeah, it will fit, but might not have the correct drive ratio......you need to post more info on here, BEFORE you ruin a tranny or something else.
  3. yep, the outer edge part of the seal a sealant, the inner part where the shaft rotates, a little bit of grease.
  4. yeah, don't see too many people doing this to inspect CV boots out like this, thats a pretty good approach angle for the right side :grin:
  5. yeah, basically that is about what i do, I never really torque the plugs down that much, so they never really squish out of shape. I learned to not overtigthen them, I probably should put some more foot lbs on, but never had a problem in 20 years. usually one new washer for every 5 or 6 oil filters.....thru experience, and not over tightening, can reusue them a lot.
  6. check the green plug under the drive seat. The ones on my Brat came loose at the connector. MMM toasty seats in a BRAT are nice (from a 04 Limited, side air bags not hooked up, but power and heat is).
  7. you probably drove the rear main in past being flush, installed it too far.. it may eventualy lessen the leaking, but probably not. It will need re-done. The first one I replaced because it was leaking, drove it in all the way, man it leaked for a while, but then the leaking pretty much ended after about 2000 miles. That car is still going and never used enough oil to ever go low (my old purple wagon) My BRAT, it was leaking so i replaced it, now its dry.....
  8. I have one 14" aluminum pug, i can bring just one, or all 5 Ben really wants them, but we have not completed the deal, so I am offering first one with oney to me gets em..
  9. they look really good where did you get tires and how much>
  10. you are not going to be able to turn so you will have to cut or lift or both
  11. bump for hope yo bring bumper to iowa campout.
  12. make sure the heat selector is cranked hottest when filling and burping, so it can fill the heater core and get the air out of there too.
  13. as long as its stock, i think it might pass. If is modded, or had a Weber, no.
  14. why did they replace intake and exhaust gaskets for a oil leak, oh becuase they pulled the heads off. did they do a rear main seal? sorry you got taken for.
  15. i might as well get the EJ to 4spd D/R adapter, so i can begin the planning for a ej22t swap into my BRAT, since the Weber search is failed.
  16. arent you going to get them before the campout, so i can get a weber....
  17. did you invite the Mountain Grizzly to this, she is in Missouri i do believe. Yeah, lots of tools will be here, lets just hope they are a help lol
  18. I think i am going to be bringing to the campout a big box of things to install on the BRAT......
  19. still Weberless on my Brat, oh well. CB radio and antenna on the way though
  20. same could be said and argued about having a cell phone in the car.... I just don't think that will be an issue.
  21. whats the status on this air, did you have success? btw, this thread is going nowhere
