  1. this is very useful to me right now too. I pulled the motor out today for my clutch. will use your info.
  2. looks Great. Like the roll bar and front bar with lights. I like the color of your Brat too. Lets go offroading soon, but not beat the body's of these BRATS up. I will be in, my new clutch should be good soon, and want to really do some wheeling. I will go digg around my parents for my old CB radio this will be good. brent
  3. B/A part 052-3199 is the rear main seal large I have that ready to go. Now, I gotta figure out the orange seal part number, which you gave me the SOA number 41396710.so that is a start and thanks i just need to reference that so i can get one here ASAP, well, still have to resurface the flywheel. but yeah
  4. power wash it, that will buff right out nice
  5. what is the orange seal in the pics? http://s405.photobucket.com/albums/pp132/bheinen74/BRAT%20clutch/?action=view&current=orangeseal.jpg My EA81 Hydro motor has 2 rear main seals i guess, and I only purchased the large outer seal, found the orange colored one is the bad one i think. Flywheel needs resurfaced, clutch had SHINY rivets on the disc. The kit i got was the correct one. Ditching the EVAP canister emissions stuff too, so will have questions. new valve cover gaskets to go in, and new valve cover grommets new oil pan gasket to go in new rear main and the Orange seal i need more info on for sure.
  6. my BRAT from Cali came to Iowa via DAS. I had used them one other time as well no problems
  7. yeah i think it the svs hole to pull a piston out without splitting block. yep yep
  8. got mine too thanks so fast. cool shirt
  9. my paypal payment was completed last night. hmmm..
  10. seems more solid cause maybe this could hold a topper without the whole back frame dropping to ground from the R stuff
  11. more hands needed. last time i did a belt, i was like, umm, i need 3 more hands to hold everything tight. and there is not much room with engine in car to have another body there to help hold something they don;t really understand. my helper, she kept saying i think its still on the mark, which it wasn't. i finally told her go get me a beer. that was the help i needed,
  12. how much for front bumper cover shipped, it looks way better than my BRATS. Please help a fella out.
  13. hell i even have the title and they wont let me register mine. iowa law is fail fail fail fail. help me before i go crazy but yeah crazy clean hatchy, i like thumbs up
  14. 6 lug conversion, think not. nice nice. and this is why toyota has small stake in subaru eh? Mick, can't wait to see this.
  15. you should get a roll cage if your doing that. one bad landing, flip, death. protect yourself with a cage. At least you have the helmet, thumb up for that. fun
  16. well, i will start you off, the first year they ever made a BRAT was 78. not sure what you have here.
  17. turbo nos meth spfi swap Weber delta cam grind timing advance lightweight pulley grinded flywheel lighter wheels remove weight go downhill racing fuel oh, sorry i got going
  18. I was wondering how he would do that too, cause of the transfer case sticking up where the seat bottom cushion and inner rail should be. 5Gallon bucket maybe the seatbelt still there LOL
  19. subaru's rule of thumb is you cannot go down a wheel size from factory, only can go up in size. Due to the clearing of the brake calipers.
