  1. on the radio.."severe windchill can lead to frostbite, hypothermia, and death" doh....
  2. my purple wagon had frozen gas in it. i put a space heater and light under the hood, while i had the charger on it. made it in to work. never bothered to try a different car, as the drive is drfted except where the purple wagon was, and it was blocking all exit points.
  3. part number 39 and 40, is only for the turbo.....I was correct, the turbo tranny has more.....yay i like to be correct. this can be seen in your link to partlist2.jpg
  4. my gas must be frozen in purple car....and its blocking exit with anyother car. doh. maybe your clutch cable is froze up...not fuly disengaging the clutch.
  5. i like the window tint in the first couple shots, is that frosted?
  6. I've been runnning Scottys cocktail in my 92 turbo legacy for oh, about 16,000 miles so far. seems great still. easy shifts even in the frigidness of blizzardness.
  7. doh. 972+ dollar Brat build. sorry bout that. they all add up. hope your injury heals up, the Brat meant no harm really
  8. that price is about right for one with rusted off torsion bar mounts......how is the rest of it as far as rocker panels and shock mounts. any pics.
  9. interesting point made in the last several comments. Subaru does not warranty the auto seat belt mechanism, nor the belts either. take a knife with you to cut them off yes. my 92 leg has a frayed belt on driver side, say on the label, "if this part frays or comes loose, replace the belt" Subaru dealer will not do a thing about it.....doh. \the 94 auto track belts was stuck, took it to burt Subaru to fix. nope. not for free. my brat, has a seatbelt buckle that is worn it sometimes doesnt fully lock without education involved, and Subaru says who cares...... please learn some things here. also if you blow the airbag hitting a pile of re-bar, subaru will not replace the airbag....
  10. think 94 legacy same. the green piece slides and unlocks the connector. doh why do i know this....for clock spring and airbag connections at the steering wheel?
  11. which is preferred Y or S price is same at my place...... V-power is for what?
  12. if you buy lsd make sure dea not selling to you jk. good luk
  13. theres a small metal wire, looks like a piece of solder/coathanger type, it kinda wraps around the connector pull it up/out away, its a lock.
  14. and the turbo 4eat and the svx 4eat has 6 or 7. non-turbo has less clutch plates.... turbo has more
  15. http://www.bulkpart.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=2&Category_Code=R4AX-ELclutch the friction clutches are sold there really cheap, I think it needs 6 or 7.
  16. I agree, this is pretty much the main reason the economy here in the US is down the crapper. We need to boycott the made in China stuff when we can, no more shopping at Wal-Mart, and if you do, please try to find the products made in the US even if it costs just a little more. That will help prevent further US job loss. If I have to go shopping anywhere, I read the made in label, and if there are 2 like similar items, I choose made in USA if they have it, regardless of cost factor.
  17. looks better, can you get rid of the blueish bulbs, make them amber, and a more rectangular headlight, with the bottom of the headlight following the line of the bumper top.. Obviously we live in snow states, and clearance is a MUST have. more clearance on front air dam.
  18. if you are dealing with these bolts, you need MAC, Snap-On, or Craftsmant grade tools, otherwise, it will snap the tool in half. They are way tight.....
  19. it could, be related to the night time dimming.....of like the radio and such..... if it is this, would be nice to tap into for my boost gauge and radio and other such like things lighting..
