  1. have had NO snow yet this winter in Iowa where I live.
  2. it does come with the BRAT in the back too, both have titles, and spare engines too.
  3. To this in the Brat: No fancy dyno and laptop needed to tune this baby!!! Your valve cover breather hoses are not hooked up right. And neither is the PCV. hope you get that fixed before you blow it up.
  4. yeah I have 2 left shipping has been running like 11:65 each car to US zip codes.

  5. where they getting the gasket from? didn't think they were available, would like to know if they get one or not?
  6. I have a Brat limited, it has the badge to prove it, and heated power leather seats. I got pics but it was dark. if you want i can take a pic of my Brat SiR with DOHC Vtec door stickers, and some good pics of the B16A with Y1 lsd too. Or if you want i can get some pics of the SS hubcaps on the BRAT, or the Z16badge. Oh, wait, I got a 22B brat too. My friend junked a ZR1 Brat the other day it was so rare I gave him a penny to watch it get crushed and he crushed it for my penny. Oh, my godmy brother has a GSL-SE brat too.
  7. I hope you report back, otherwise you r the many who join and never come back. good thing we have join date and post count shown.
  8. my extra ea81 cam sitting here, looks like there is a dowel from the front driven into the shaft, and that dowel look removable, from the front of it. so i would say it is possible. in fact, yes it is doable from what i know about dowel pins, and cotter pinch joints. It is a swedge joint from my look, so you have to grabe and hold the stopper, while to press and pull the gear off the cam
  9. just getting the engine to operating temp often helps, that is pretty hot, not cherry red, but heat helps, and if you got no torch,
  10. 11.9 gallon hatch tank 14.5 on the other 4wd's might be a good time to do what it takes to get a fuel cell mounted up.
  11. I recant some. There is a couple factory ground wires attached to the front by the battery, the strap goes to a bolt on the radiator support above te headlight on the driver side. sometimes the star washer there corrodes and needs cleaned to bare metal on the support. also, there is a couple of grounding wires to the shock tower supports that corrode the same. clean them up to bare metal and good to go, that is the isue. If the owner of a car cannot clean these up with a wire brush, then they do not deserve to own one, and a seller who cannot do this even, has probably failed at other basic maintenance too, like oil changes, tire pressure, etc.
  12. something is odd on the hatch above it has a 2 spoke steering wheel, and the rear defogger button is not there, same stuff as a brat....
  13. So you have a Subaru Outback, and you then installed Outback headlights on your outback? am I missing something, like did someone swap regular legacy lights onto your outbackm then you put it back to stock? not sure i follow. have you ever taken that thing into mud yet? looks like a grocery getter.
  14. I have had like 30 subarus now, of them I have had 5 r 6 subaru legacy turbo 92-94 none have gad a grounding problem.. seller sounds like scum selling to a sucker.
  15. yeah big honkin Dodge RAM truck behind me, at a stoplight turning left to get on I-80 east near Omaha, I am in my Hatchie, light is red we are stopped, light turns to green left arrow, and he about rear ends me during my normal acceleration 1st gear to second gear, cause he is starting to haul speed and I am trying to get going into 2nd gear as i look at my rearview, he is about hiting me, then i get to 3rd.......stupid tailgater.
  16. I like my crftsman ************ tools now i have my dads in this pic, and the wall tool rack goes about 9 feet more to the right, and they are all snap on/ mac, and then there are 5 more tool chests.... of tools as well. I just like having someof my own for normal engine swaps etc.
  17. you can use 2 self tapping sheet metal screws on the bottom, up threw into the filter, then use a pry bar between the screws as a lever. if they pop loose, then drive a scrwedrivr all the way threw the filter and use it as lever
  18. if you have bad tie rods, replace them not the rack replacing rack would be same as replacing entire trans when you have a torn axle boot... hello. replace the defective parts not the entire assembly. or, maybe you are one who would pull the engine if you have a exhaust leak?
  19. that nut welded to the back of it, is for hiding a spare key up under the bumper. you can push a bread bag twist tie into the bolt and out the other side and then twist tie your spare key to it.
  20. Also replaced the 2 burned out license light bulbs for the rear plate today. outback seats sit too high for more than BRAT (the funtops make more headroom so they can work in the BRAT) Actually, these will have to do until i can find some 95-97 Impreza 2 dr sedan seats in tan and they are very comfy.
  21. here are the new ones next to the old ones -I had to remove the brackets and install on the new ones. installed and holding open like new now My brother got me 4 of these fan plate surrounds, but I told him i have 7 cars. I have installed my mats from my old outback. just don't have one for driver side, only have passenger and both rear mats swapped the inside high beam light today old one had moisture, darkness. installed 2 things under hood, the heat riser to prevent carb icing in the extreme cold weather, and installed the splash shield for front of distributor/carb
  22. If the magnet too deep, easy way to fix is piece of 1/2 inch or so plywood, cut a ring out and use the ring as a spacer behind the speaker..
  23. corrosion on the green connector is first likely cause second likely is clogged hoses third is frozen water n the lines fourth likely is hose disconnected or pinched fifth likely is fuse sixth likely is out of fluid seventh likely is pump failure.
