  1. oops i was being a jerk for no needed reason. carry on. sorry.
  2. mine are factory 100% the seats have 2 tabs on each seat with a tamper torx holding then to the welded to bed frame. Remove the tamper torx and then they pretty much flip right out. what more do you need, i can take a video of the removal but dont show to those who want to steal mine I carry the correct torx in mine so i can pull the seat out when i move say, riding mowers, long boards, or when i move my friends crap... seats pop out in like 4 minutes, and this is all factory stuff. ey are very removable with the correct tamper torx From factory -ahh i was not being so nice sorry.
  3. umm i need to think on going more stock than sport mags. Guinness?????? Mick you seem to like these sport mags..
  4. that pic is the best center cap the other 2 are pretty degraded. Mick, are you following this, If i brought the best cap to you do you think you could repro with your sticker materials....????a thought.
  5. after seeing my dads 98 forester, i would say they are as good as a 90-94 legacy, except for the headgaskets. In my opinion, comparing it to my brothers 99 outback it is way better. Comparing it to my parents 06 legacy, the 98 forester is way better. Comparing to my 94ss, about the same in quality my dad says his 98 drives better than the 06. To see if the headgaskets are currently failing, you need to test drive it for 30 minute highway drive, and then pull into a parking lot, with car running, and pop hood quick and look into the top of overflow tank. If you see BUBBLES, it is failing or has failed. Stay with something prior to 07.......like 98-07 the new ones are HUGE.
  6. yeahi said i have close to 6500 in this. i sell it for 5g and lose 1500...

  7. huh kuma say waht really the regular nuts no worky> of crap.

  9. these just arrived. I need one more center cap like this though they were 90 plus 49 for shipping. thoughts?
  10. i will soon be ready. picked up 4 rims yesterday and restored them. tires were just left by fed-ex about an hour ago.
  11. the price i had listed is 5000.

  12. my svx is averaging 27.5 over the distance of 9thousand miles i have been keeping track. crx only getting 37.6 but that will be fixed next spring. 94 legacy sport sedan 5spd is averaging 24.8mpg over about 6k miles. 85 brat is still getting 24mpg. i keep all my cars tuned as good as possible from my shade tree experience.
  13. i have the same orange one from there. It wouldnt even budge most of the stuff i do. anyone want it, used like 12 times, comes with case, instruction etc. 25 plus shipping. it is a paperweight in my garage.
  14. you might profit from this mistake: clean those up with a scotchbrite, mask the tires off, and get some nice spray rustoleum on them, new paint, try to get some air in the tires, and throw in craigs for more than you bought them for, and include your paint cost... win win.
  15. and i am not even sure the inner hub circle on your wheels is big enough.
  16. there are lots of threads regarding warnings on pinch bolt removal, especially cars in rust belt, and new orleans is near salt water, and prone to rust belt type issues. you might HAVE to replace the knuckle hub.
  17. 2005 and 2006 had wheel bearing problems-that is recalled, and also headlight bulbs that only last about 8 months and continually bun out, that issue has no fix. Also, the headlight cutoff is TERRIBLE when they do work. also, look up heater hvac issues and lack of useable heat flow. there are also ghostwalk issues related to the 2005-2007 its a design issue, as well as alignement issues. also, paint issues of chipping and they have headgasket leaks too.
  18. what mileage did these hg go out? gonna see LOTS more of the newer ones.....mileage is just approaching the limits before they blow on many of these. Subaru never did get it right i dont think on the ej25. that car is only 6 years old. sorry. was it even due for a timing belt replacement?
  19. ut oh on borken belts, as i juuuust ordered a set of hakka4 on a ebay deal for new ones, set of 205/60/15 for my turbo 94 legacy, got the set of four for 196, then shipping is 49. i hate broken belts... hope this is not true for my set. now i need 15" rims lol i have no 15" rim.
  20. its not on craigslist, i did post some pics of it on my thread. No more pugs on it, they were sold a few days ago. I am going to be taking lift kit off soon if nobody jumps on it.
