start checking Craigslist in all the cities for your State. Something is going to become available......get the whole legacy with running ej22, maybe a side wreck or rear smash.... and part what is left and not be out a dime...buy car for 500, take engine and bits, sell remaining parts off the rest of car for 500, break even, no cost.

you have a pm. I have 200 bones.

for one, you need a different starter, as I think, auto starters are different than manual starters. driveshaft length most likely to be different. speedo cable should be same i would guess.

serious? I dont think its been done, at least usually its the other way around, which means there should be a bunch of boat anchors laying around for you to get hands on. I am certain you could probably find someone with a Auto and trade your bits, would make 2 people happy..

EA-81 Pressure Plate Placement?
bheinen74 replied to nitsuj80's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
there are some indicator holes on the flywheel, and they have to be 120 degrees or more from clutch cover plate indicators, which is usually a dot or paint mark. -

how about Vicious Bass- DJ Magic Mike. I have that CD, can bring along, How low can you go, this,.........low.......i dont think so....... BOOM on most systems...... that was for SPL comps. think it was track 3, with lows and highs, good for SPL competitions. the only way to appreciate this, is with some serious subwoofers.....most normal speakers can't go that low, but KICKER sure can....tear up yo fosgates fo sure. l Me is not responsible for any damages to your speakers, headphones, ears, etc if you play that track loud.....please do so at your own risk.

A week and 3 days with the car....report. I took a list of the things it was missing or needed: right front control arm slight tweaked driver seat lumbar lever missing washer fluid resevoir cap was cracked radio bass/treble pull knobs cracked, not fully functional correctly missing the dust caps for the front strut towers. This stuff is all done, thanks to my trip to Wrench N Go and Car Country junkyards on Saturday. Pulled off the tweaked control arm, swapped ball joints around, installed. Rest of the stuff is cake stuff. Took to dads shop for a drive over the toe machine....adjustments made and it drives terrifically, steering back to center too. My dogs got their first car ride in it Sunday. Drove it to work today. up next, claybar and wax job.

I saw the Dale Earnhardt JR white/black/orange Camaro last fall. Looked neat, til i started looking at it closely. It had rusted front bumper brackets/bolts, and the rear bumper fitment looked like typical 1970's GM. Among other things. You would have thought they would have made a Dale JR car look nice even close up, but no. And this was a display car for the new Chevys. not impressed. The windshield washer bottle cap wouldnt even stay snapped shut on it-typical GM quality. now, Hennessy, thats an impressive power plant. title of the thread made me think Cognac. That Hennessy Camaro will be like money in the bank, its RARE and has specialness, kinda like a 53 vette or a Z16 Chevelle

the sticker on the door is not for a Turbo car. tires size is the giveaway 195/60R15 is what is should say. your door been swapped at some point. no biggie. also, notice its says 4wd wagon at the bottom it looks like you found a piggy bank of coins nice:) if you get tired of the LSD, i will swap my open diff If you needs spares, i have quite a bit around still.

People fail to understand why you cannot launch, smoke show tires on a AWD car. There is more grip at all 4 wheels on the AWD car. Friends with FWD or rear wheel drive cars can sit and spin tires, because only 2 tires are putting down traction. On a AWD car, there is less ability to lose traction, tires will not spin, instead, transmission is like GLASS. The break when they are abused. done I have been following your threads, First you wanted to make it fast. I warned to search on NASIOC about fragile like glass transmission, but a mod on here pulled my Thread on that. Not sure why they pulled my thread, as that advice was what you need.

good job of finding parts. I recently got a 94SS and have a short junkyard list to get consisting of: lumbar support lever for the driver seat dome light bulb control arm right front lower mudflaps radio bass/treble knobs without a crack- keeps them from working 100% thats about what mine needs and will get this stuff Saturday. I can pull all this stuff from a NA car, its all the same on these parts. Glad you are improving yours too.

Alternative for stock Ignition switch
bheinen74 replied to mcbrat's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
if its worth anything to ya, i have a NOS Subaru switch, with 2 keys, we think its for a gen1, the connector on the back fits the stock gen 2 connector, it just has a different collar around the steering shaft. It is a OEM Subaru, with the nice plastic black key top with the Subaru stars. I would be willing to part with it. -
Wow....As these items that failed are not the normal, but I have seen other threads of similar on the newer ones, things like broken stabilizer bar ends, etc. Wonder what kind of mistreatment if any your car had. I think it is things like this that make me comment on the quality going downhill on the newer gen stuff. Springs and racks just never seemed to fail on the older ones. Now there are quite a few threads of this on other boards, that back up these items as failing prematurely. Do you have any history on the car.

ej22t can run and not even know the O2 is unplugged though, so i dont think thats it. it will only get about 16mpg unplugged though, and will get about 23mpg with it plugged in. Not the kind of thing your video shows on lack of RPM ability-which points to the MAF, or TIMING even thought you checked it. What marks did you check the timing with..
