  1. I wasn't aware the EA81 had power steering. Is this what it is? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1983-SUBARU-GL-WAGON-1-OWNER-64K-AUTO-COLD-AC-CLEAN-CAR_W0QQitemZ4645137967QQcategoryZ6467QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  2. I bet Snoop Dogg has never heard of a Subaru.
  3. Please explain this to me. An old guy at my work who used to own a Brat said there was a tax on two seater vehicles (Toyota MR2 Etc.) So Subaru put seats in the back to make it a four-passanger. Is this correct?
  4. Don't forget the Nissan injectors in the EA82T.
  5. I see the high price of brat seats on ebay and I wonder why? Because they have become the new Toyota conversion. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/89-Toyota-Extended-Cab-Pickup-NICE-rims-MUST-SEE_W0QQitemZ4643332256QQcategoryZ6059QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  6. See if you can lock the other side up and take a picture of you doing a big front-wheel drive burnout.
  7. I agree you are going to spend in upwards of several grand getting the STi motor. You never can go wrong with an EJ22, but it would be pretty badass to see a loyale with one of those monstors in it.
  8. Little too "ricey" for me, Never seen an aftermarket tach that I liked.
  9. Can someone explain to me this: Is a Subaru RX a pretty rare vehicle. I live in Tennessee and I NEVER see one out on the highway. And I live ten minutes from the biggest Subaru dealer in the state.
  10. Being Me, I would just go with a good OEM Subaru color.
  11. I agree with you 100% on that matter, I to drive back and forth to college. It's just the fact that I live in the Ricer capital of the world, and it gets on my nerves when I am sitting at the red light and I have to hear 2 different songs played over 3 different systems in some kids '94 Civic Ex. Having quality is a good thing, but being obnoxious is another.
  12. I have them in mine, Christ knows how I would go about finding aftermarket ones and getting stock ones out, I dont have a need or desire for subwoofers because IMO when it comes to a set of subs, if you've heard one, you've basically heard them all. I see them as going the route of euro tail lights, and big chrome wheels. Just a fad.
  13. Those are great until you have to do a sudden brake check. That area is never going to quit being sticky.
  14. Problem just came back, ran up the road and I notcied that my voltage was about 12 its usually higher, and also my heat hand was starting to rise considerably, im not certain if my fan is coming on or not. Anyone else had this problem.

  16. Big enough to make an attempt at scaring stupid people of the tracks.
  17. What I am going to have to do is reconsider my approach to doing a grounding upgrade. I made the mistake of getting longer wire thank what I needed and that caused some pretty bad effects. I will put more thought into this process next time I attempt it. As for now If it isn't broke, im not going to fix it.
  18. PROBLEM SOLVED: Switched the original factory ground back and solved both the voltage issue, and the overheating issue. Thanks People.
  19. Well Im probably going to fall back on the old principal: "If it's not broke, don't fix it". I just hope the overheating issue will go away when I change the wire back.
  20. Thanks!!! I will go by the Mart De Wal tomorrow after my Economics class. Go in and pick up a considerably shorter wire. If all else fails I could just put my OEM one back one. I am probably not the only one who gets nervous when that temp gauge goes above the normal zone.
  21. You all seen a repeat of the simpsons. It originally aired about 3 months ago. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=50442&highlight=simpsons
  22. Today after seeing the overall gain a friend of mine had with replacing the ground points on his 240sx it got me to thinking. So i replaced the original factory ground with a bigger gauge wire. I just simply ran it back to the OEM engine grounding point. Now i just noticed that I have somewhat of an overheating problem and the voltage doesn't read as high. The wire is 51 inches long, could that have something to do with it. As of right now I am not in the mood to start replacing headgaskets and valve covers. Do you (the board in general) think I should get a smaller length wire, or start going about the thermostat replacement ordeal?
