  1. Yea its a shame that they quit making them here. All we have is a good BAJA. (Still own one of them to)
  2. I have leather Toyota Camry bucket seats in my Tacoma and I didn't know you could do the same thing with our old Subarus. Might give it a try.
  3. I just seen this Brat on ebay that had leather seats out of a forester. (Picture Attached) I was wondering, how hard would that be? And if it could be done with the seats for a 01 2.5 RS Impreza into a 85 Brat?
  4. That guy is going to be pissed next time you come back when he finds out you took his hood scoop.
  5. I just wish I had been old enough to buy a brand new Brat straight off the showroom floor. Gonna have one when I get my income tax this year.
  6. Sadly, Not to many of us can afford a $32,000 monster with 300HP that does 0-60 in 4.6 and still have enough to pay for insurance.
  7. If I found that out I would be super pissed. I don't believe you would have to much trouble finding one a dual-range tranny at a junk yard somewhere.
  8. Thanks to everyone who is hosting this file on their own personal servers! It is always good to know that good, decent people are still generous enough to stick it to the man. Thank you all.
  9. HOLY CRAP! I never in the world would have thought of that! I believe that I am at a disadvantage being that my A/C unit hasn't worked in many many moons. So Instead, i just took the belt off of it, got at least 4 HP.
  10. They are both off the double head-light models, should be fine? Mine is hanging on by a single screw.
  11. I don't know if this would be of any help but; a brat on ebay recently went for $ 5500.00. Maybe you could use this in some form of your plight. Here is the Link to that auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1982-SUBARU-BRAT_W0QQitemZ4600997235QQcategoryZ6467QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  12. Sorry, just learned to attach pictures.
  13. The busted Grille is one that is currently on my 2wd Hatch. The second one is the grille that I currently want to buy, will the new grille fit? Or are they different size wise?
  14. That is the way my buddies 240sx is, the vin number is 10/94 but it is the S14 model that came about in 95. Guess it was the crossover year.
  15. I had an insurance quote on one the other day, the standard WRX isn't too bad, it's the STi that will kill you. For my grandmother for 6 months full coverage was $892.54; for a grandmother, OUTRAGEOUS!
  16. I just wish I had my Business degree so I could go out and by one of them ***************es right off the lot.
  17. Its just a 3.0 H6 the picture of the engine bay that was in the magazine has it with the fire red STi manifold. When I was thumbing through it caught my eye instantly, had to do a double take when I counted 6 of them.
  18. I was at the local wal-mart tonight and decided to check out some educational reading so I picked up the first magazine with an STi on it and it was Modified Mag. After further reading I found that one lucky soul has taken the H6 motor out of a B9 Tribeca and managed to fit it into the STi and still have the room for a turbo that pushes out around 550hp. I couldnt imagine how great that would feel when you see the look on someones face when you pop the hood. Check it out.
  19. Thats is a pretty cheesey way to get somebody to bring their subaru back to the dealership just to get some moron to climb under your dash for 30 seconds. Teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime....
  20. That right there proves that I learn something COMPLETELY new everytime I look on this forum. I just thought a moonroof was just seals around the glass, who-da-thunk-it?
  21. Ok, follow up. Went and checked all the fuses, nothing, pulled the cap of the distributor and cleaned all the connectors off, nothing. What could it be, something I did notice is that the coil that autozone sold me was a bit smaller than the OEM one i had on the car, could this be affecting anything? Also when i had the switch in the run position I could hear a repetitive clicking underneath the hood, what was that cause it has quit clicking and I believe that is the cause of my misfortune.
  22. I havent checked the voltage on the coil yet due to lack of time, been driving my toyota instead (missing ole' red). Im thinking that it might have jumped time so instead of going through all that garbage, also it has a burnt valve on the number one cylinder. I found a severly rusted 83 Brat with dual range 4x4 for $250 so I am going to buy that for the motor due to it only having 50,000 miles. I wont need the tranny or the body of the brat so....Anyone want to buy a rusted through brat with a dual range tranny? Anyone know what I could out of one off ebay?
