  1. I think he is talking about the thing that covers the spare in the trunk.
  2. Has anyone ever modded the gauge cluster in the second gen Legacies to where the needles are red as seen in the JDM models? Example:
  3. Watched it on youtube this morning. First words out of my mouth when I saw the hood was: "Oh wow!"
  4. I am leaving the office this evening about to head on a weekend trip and I get to the car (05 STi) and it's close to 80 here. I attempt to turn the AC on and nothing happens. I immediately go into diagnostic mode in my brain trying to figure out this one out. I determine that the compressor is not kicking on, nor is the fans. I get home and use the last remnants of the 134a I had left from when I recharged the system on my RS last year. I put some in and manage to get the compressor to kick on along with the fans but still don't get cold air out of the vents. I talked to my buddy who had the same problem with his 03 WRX and he said it was a 0.30 o-ring that was causing his leak. Any thoughts?
  5. Got ya. Will do that next time I drive it. It's been nice here so I been driving the STi.
  6. Dang, wish you had a cable clutch. My Outback TOB spins constantly too. Wondering if my clutch cable is too tight.
  7. If you emailed SOA about the problem returning, they would probably tell you to take it back to the dealer for confirmation of the problem. Seems like it would be hard for them to reproduce the error since the mercury has been rising.
  8. I respect you for wanting to learn about this thing and asking questions. Don't get all in a tizzy because someone gives you an answer you do not like. You bought a very old turbo car that has hands down, the worst engine Subaru has ever made. I am willing to bet that you went ahead and installed an aftermarket blow off valve and have it set to vent fully to atmosphere too. About every 2 months someone gets on here thinking their EA82T can be made to run with the WRX guys only to blow it up 3 weeks later.
  9. No, they aren't mine. Compare the front fenders, the sedan has a more aggressive style. This one is mine:
  10. Ever want to kill a whole afternoon? Watch the Subaru Alliance videos that Tom and Miles have on the YouTube.
  11. That dang Miles Fox and his Midwest domination. He's worse than the Wal-Mart.
  12. Forgot to finalize this. I just took it to my local trusted tire place that also does exhaust work. Turns out, the pipe was broke after the cat. They just welded it back together for $27.
  13. The fenders will need to come from the body style that corresponds to your car. WRX sedan has different fenders from the WRX wagon.
  14. I would be a little weary about modifying the buckle. Don't want that turning into a weak point in an accident.
