  1. You're really doing some work on that thing Tom. Looking good.
  2. H4 = horizontal 4 cylinder H6 = Horizontal 6 cylinder 256k is pretty damn good and I would be grateful to get that mileage out of a car.
  3. Well, I learned something.... the hard way. I am going to clean the MAF when I get home tonight and see what it does and start trying to get this thing running better. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1282520&highlight=clean+spt+intake http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1373545
  4. As have I, that's what's got me baffling and I find it hard to believe I got 4 plugs bad out of the box. Planning to clean the maf this evening when I get home.
  5. Doing some work on this 02 WRX that was brought to me last week. They stated that the plugs had not been changed since 55k and the odometer has 166k on it so I told them they needed to be changed. I look up the OEM NGK plug and get 4 of them from advance auto. Firday evening, I change the plugs on cylinders. Started it up and it sat and idled just fine in the driveway for 15 minutes while I put my tools up and went in for the night. Today, I changed the plugs on 2 & 4 and re-oiled the filter element on the SPT intake it has. Buttoned everything back up, battery, washer tank, etc. Now, the thing does not want to idle and is missing under normal load. It did throw a CEL for a misfire on all 4 cylinders. Out of ideas, I put the original plugs for cylinders 2 & 4 back in and that had no effect. I am baffled. I know that the filter oil can accumulate on the MAF sensor and cause a running issue. Could that be causing this misfiring issue?
  6. Yep. You will have to swap your seat buckle receiver to the new seat. Be prepared that they may sit differently in your car. My 03 WRX seat sits quite a bit higher in my 95 Outback but that was expected.
  7. It is settled then. A USMB member must buy this.
  8. Wow. I knew the other markets got them, not the US. That thing was loaded back in the day.
  9. When did you get that thing?
  10. I love you. I do have an immaculate cargo cover for a first gen legacy. I assume since it has the cut outs for the rear speakers. The one that is broken is for a gen 2. I got them both for free so I'm still in the green. I am toying with the idea of retrofitting the part over.
  11. The part on the cargo cover that fits into the notch on the rear of the hatch when full extended has broken off. Does anyone have a suggestion for repairing this so it would fit into that point again. Thanks.
  12. You can find those security bits at some hardware stores. I found mine at the big lots. I applaud you for wanting to change the 95 steering wheel as I too, think it is goofy feeling and would love to swap it.
  13. Gosh, this is from a long time ago. I think mine ended up being a failing alternator at the time.
  14. You can get a valve cover gasket set from Felpro that has those spark plug gaskets with it. http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_Valve-Cover-Gasket-Set-Felpro_15780704-P_107_R|GRPGASKAMS_____
  15. That is a new one to me. I would have figured they would have been a direct swap in. I have an 03 WRX seat in my 95 and it was a straight job aside from the buckle.
  16. The local Subaru dealer(s) had a silver one in yesterday. I would like to test drive one but don't see myself having one as a daily driver. Hard to do much baby hauling in a coupe like that.
