I am still thrilled out it Zap! I have had mixed experiences with every junkyard around me and this was the first one that I had been to that I was welcomed with "open arms" (to quote a famous Journey song). Most people around here don't usually deal in them, its usually the big 3 American ones and alot of old D series Honda crap.

Yakima Valley Junk yard finds today

Granted it saves space, I never did like the idea of stacking cars. -
This place is pretty cheap service wise too. I just called and asked what he would charge for timing belt change for my Legacy and it was $289, compared to the $500+ the dealer quoted me. Looks like I am going to be making another trip here soon. I asked if he had been busy, said he was doing 2 headgasket jobs at once. Thats right, both on EJ25's.

That is pretty cool setup for the climate controls. Holy crap! An analog clock, I got digital son. Are the idiot lights on the dash the same as what we got, would like to see some more pics. -

You better get a video of that thing and let us hear it. -
Possessed underhood component: A common part?
Durania replied to carfreak85's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Maybe something to do with A/C. My 2 non-turbo, non-A/C EA81's does not have that looking part. While my A/C having hatchback has a similar relay that close to the fusible link box. Just a thought. -
You ever make one of them movies about this place, Miles, that will be the tag line.

does your oil cap rattle?

Looks like some kind of chain setup one would see in a toilet tank. If it works... -

I think Subaru_dude went to the one in newport last week. If it is the one I am thinking of, it has a turbo brat there. -
Indeed, it was. I anticipated the day to be spent going back and forth with a piece of sandpaper as I had asked Josh(Legacy777) for advice about grit. I removed them so I could cover every possible angle. The kit is like 10 bucks and is worth every bit of it; all one needs is a good power drill. If headlights are removed, it's best to have a friend hold the headlights while going over them with the drill to keep them from moving all over the place. Glad you guys liked it. Kyle

You got it backwards. The dogs stay out, you just have to hook the leash back up.

A roof rack and you and "The Loyale" will have matching loyales.

Pull that alternator off there and take it to a good auto parts store and get you a good reman one. Two Do Not Do's: Depending on the model (SPFI or Carb) you should not do the pull negative terminal off battery to do the test as it can cause major ECM problems. And do not drive it for long distances with bad alternator, as you can wind up stranded; ask me how I know.

I feel to have a more personal relationship with the people on here. I can't stand going through all the posts on NASIOC and they have that ad system that highlights the words and drives me nuts. Also there is an endless plethora of Subaru knowledge. If it's been broke, someone has already been there and fixed it and can tell me what to do.

There is a good Subaru junkyard in Clinton. He would have one there. Good to see more members from TN on here. -
I used three pads per light and and I think that I might be able to get it a little clearer. I am finally getting the full effect of the Silverstars that I paid $40 for about 5 years ago. The only issue I had was the little tips on the headlights shredding the pads up. Oh well, it kept me from breaking my arms sanding them down.
