I like it, always been a sucker for a hunter green. If it was me, I would throw a set of white spoked wheels on it and call it a day.

Oh well I just took them back to lowes before I went to work today. I had never even heard of the manufactuer ill post the name of it when I get up in the morning. Its got a 1800 number on the back, I should call and still see if they are in business. All I need to do is get some plexi-glass for the back and the side window and Ill be in good shape. Its got a light in the topper, how in the world would one wire that thing up?

I have had to do this with my hand before in a parking lot. Believe me it sucks alot of crap through this way and I had a perfect outline of a Weber on my hand for about an hour.

Well the J hooks I bought were useless they didnt line up with the holes on the camper so I took the shoe strings out of my steel toes and tied her down for the 2 minute ride up the road to get some tie down straps. Well heres the pics, the old girl cleaned up real nice; I didn't want to do much since it was pouring the rain at the time but I got the mildew off of it. Also a quick note, I went to pick this up in Harriman which where the number 1 subaru dealer in the state is. So many it would make you Washington guys feel at home. I would drive the crap out of that thing. Looks like you took a can opener and only opened it half way on your hood. If you hit a deer that thing will cut it in half.

I seen something on the DIY channel that its fairly common to have to do headgaskets around the higher mileage mark especially with an aluminum block. Head gaskets are going the route of regular maintenence. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Head_gasket

If its clicking when you turn the key then it sounds like a starter issue.

Make sure and put a Subaru Robin motor on it.

I had the same problem with my Brat a few months ago where it would die as soon as I pushed the clutch in. First thing I did was run to walmart and buy the biggest can of Carb cleaner they had and gave it a good long bath. Had my dad run it outside by the throttle and I just kept it running inside. Turns out some trash had gotten stuck down in it and it ran fine after that.

Ok, went to the Fastenal place today they told me they didnt carry it so I went to the Lowes. Was Lucky to find this thing and thanked my lucky six I didnt have to go anywhere else. Here is what I got, you guys think it will work? Also here is the camper top im getting. Just want to clearify this is a gen 2.

Thanks for the pics. I called down to the parts guy at the subaru place and they dont carry those hooks anymore. Do you think I would have some luck finding these kind of things at a Lowes or something?

How much does this thing weight? The sube dealership that I go to religiously is close to where I am picking it up at. Do you think they would carry them in a reasonable price range?

So I found a high topper for my Brat, should be going to pick it up on Friday. My question is, how do I attach this thing to my Brat? I dont want this thing go shooting off onto some guy in a miata behind me.

Meth is like fast food here in Tennessee. Cat theft here isnt gotten as bad as theives stealing the copper wiring out of A/C units. They done that crap all summer.
