id say leave it stock..it is a freakin STI!!!! only a select few of aftermarket exhausts sound nice ,most sound really ricey.. if u want nice sound u should have gotten a mustang gt and put some straight pipes on it( neighbor has one, house windows shake when he hits the gas hard and leave my street)

Id check out the new accord V6's the 6's are def. not noisy at all and have a TON of power. my coupe gets 31mpg highway and has 240hp ~ cant beat that. highway ride can be a little harsh though, but i think it makes up for it in its handeling. check out the camry, altima, maxima, infiniti G35, mazda6, 300c, Charger, and the new lexus IS class, and the new bimmer 3 series...but if u like the accord overall, you will NOT be unhappy with it!

Hummer H3

turbo forester over a freakin Hummer? get real maybe not the H3 but i would take a H2 and H1 over it anyday. Size and road status is what they want which the hummer does better, not to mention it would do much better offroad. -
OKAY!!! Anyone with snow want to host?
97OBW replied to Baysurfin's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
you dont have to leave NC theres tons of snow up in the mountain area..Boone, Appalachin~ unplowed snow(the north has snow equipment to where a RWD 83' volvo 240 could comute with no problems) -
i dont have a digital camera but i did open it up and it looks like the caliper is bent downwards. Imagine looking at the car from the rear and looking down at its tires from the rear. the left tire is tilted to the left. looking at the car from the side the tire is jolting out vertically(not even with the wheel well)
-
Lets just say i got some major curb rash to where my left rear wheel is now bent vertically and about 1/4 of the tire is sticking out through the wheel well. the car drives without any alignment issues but my question is how much is this gonna cost? is the axle bent? any price quotes would be great its a 97obw, (the rim isent bent)

Offer to run 0-60 with them in a snow covered field. What if he has a Porche Cayanne? -
warming up?
97OBW replied to 97OBW's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVX
warming up uses a TON of gas. on cold days its way up at 1800rpm and on top im not moving anywhere (getting 0 mpg) imo i think everyone should be fine even if you did drive it hard right after start up.. i mean just because its "cold" doesnt mean oil isent doing its job.. i was reading a consumer reports article from their used car buying guide and looking at their tips on saving gas, and it said a car should never be idled or "warmed up". They say a car warms up faster by driving it in the first place and would be "warmed up" within a couple of miles of driving with no harm to the car. -

how do you know when the oil pressure has maxed or full? rpms start to lower?
