  1. you can do a search on about anything,i think your tank is a 15 gallon. the all wheel drives has a split tank,my 91 takes about 10 gallons when the gauge is on quater tank. ed
  2. at this point i would have to guess that it is in the heater control its self. ed
  3. there is 2 fuses in the inside fuse box,the 2 lower right 15 amp fuses are for the heater so check both, not sure but might be one under the hood. ed by the way----everybody says the high speed does not go thru the resister,so you should have 123 speeds if you have power at all,you did find the resister,it is as you stated. ed
  4. open the glovebox and take the screws out, youll see 2 cutouts in the edge of the dash, pull box up to these cutouts and box comes out. you will now see the fan motor.check the resister while you are in there, its the one with the plug on it. ed

  8. nipper, i somewhat agree but, there has been plenty of wrecks with cars that had new tires in the rain and still hydrplained.ill bet that not onehalf of one percent of accidents is from faulty equipment.where i live in ohio we do not have a state inspection, and comparisions have been made with no evidence that it matters.put the blame where it belongs, with the person behind the wheel.most people that has no brakes drive slower, you know what i mean. ed
  9. the flexplate should change noise if you go from nuetral to drive nuetral to reverse.
  10. how about a sticky therostat or a hose sucking closed, will it cool down if you pull over and let it idle?
  11. you can get that color at your local automotive paint store[ppg or rm] they can mix in lacquer or enamel. about 12.00 a spray can. ed
  12. you might move your steering colum over to the other side OR you might have to adjust after install. ed
  13. think about this,if they only replace one side this is going to negate the balance of the engine, the replacement pistons would have to be heavier[because of more skirt] so what would this end up being? ed
  14. my 85 did the same thing, got by 2 years with aluminum stop leak, maybe, maybe not,but for the cost its worth a try. good luck. ed
  15. i have never heard of anything not moving create a vibration,im taking bets on the lock up in the torqeconverter, when they finnally go they will stall the engine like it is a standard and you forgot to push the clutch in.OR a miss in the engine. ed
  16. your heater core is leaking into the ducts, maybe a loose hose under hood next to heater core where it hooks on but not likely. ed
  17. the shifting is electronicly controled, not sure where.if it was govenor or valve body it wouldnt shift at all.
  18. mine ticks just like yours but mine has 241,000 on it so mine is wear.i would try the marvel mystry oil trick,a pint in oil about a week before you plan to change it,worked for me a number of times. ed
