  2. Hi, " Without air on the temps rise when doing hills." I've never had an EA-82 do this, unless there was something wrong with it. Doug
  3. Hey, I got a response from Summit on 15" ATV wheels. " Please check back with us in a few months." Doug

  5. Hey, Good that you got it solved. "But most of the ones I've tested in the real world are between 110-130, even on fresh rings." Short of boring, new pistons will bring that up a bit. Fresh ring lands and tight clearance there go a long way. Different cams will up or lower that too. I know of people that's added more boost and whatnot to an engine like that. Doesn't make sense. If the compression isn't up to snuff, what's the point? Doug
  6. Well, there was AA wheels. It would cost too much money, and it would be hard to get everyone on the same page for a group deal. I'm waiting on the fifteen inch Summit, with the weight of about one of those thirteen inch wagon wheels. I don't like Custom if I can avoid it. Bolt on, off the rack, mass produced. Mass produced/modified works for me. Doug Life is short.
  7. Hey Caramanos, You have a choice with backspacing. This wheel is -10.2. Then you would need to fit the tires and check. But I don't know anyone that's done it yet. Tire options are somewhat limited in 14" compared to 15". But some of the ATV tires are DOT approved. One I saw was speed limited to 65 mph tho. I'd expect a 15" Summit wheel one of these days. 8. It's relevant because people have used that bolt pattern on a Subaru before. Back then, the discussion centered on the weight rating of the wheel. With a 1000 lb. rating, that's good enough for these old cars. Doug
  9. I'm thinking the spec is 140 lbs for the turbo. Doug
  10. "Anyone found an oil that ea82's like? Synthetic? mobil 1 is on sale! " Well, mine like Mobil 1. Extended drain intervals. I "clean" my Puroilator filter and put them back on. A little solvent and air... You can tell what it looks like with the dipstick. Doug I generally run Mobil 1 about 12 K before changing it out. Just keep clean filters on it. If it's a real leaker, I don't use it until I get it leak free, and yes, I have Subaru's that don't leak a drop. Doug
  11. NEW 15-INCH ULTRACROSS IS THE HOT UTV SETUP FOR 2009 ITP is excited to announce its first 15-inch tire offering with the all-new UltraCross, designed specifically for UTVs used primarily on hard surfaces, smooth terrain and at higher speeds. The low profile, lightweight design features a tightly spaced, overlapping tread pattern that lowers rolling resistance and enhances ride comfort. This tread pattern has been computer-designed to also reduce rolling noise levels. The UltraCross utilizes a 6-ply radial construction and a new, more durable rubber compound to deliver longer wear and enhanced cut resistance. A super deep Rim Guard feature offers the best wheel lip protection in the business. Now available in a 26x10R-15 size.
  12. I don't think a 12 incher would. All I've been looking at are 14 and 15" wheels. More are in the pipeling, as I understand it. Then someone will do 16s:) The Summit wheels have a reputation for being tough on bikes around here. The Douglas brand, well, considered junk beside them. Doug
  13. My friend Trent the ATV rider stopped by yesterday. First time he had seen that 15" ITP wheel. I told him soon, they'll be rolling 28s on four wheelers:lol: Doug
  14. There could possibly be a weight penalty with a dual exhaust setup. Might negate any other gains. Doug
  15. "^load rating 656 beadlock not functional, but they include it anyway " The Summit wheels I'm looking at are rated to 1124 lb. All these are 1124 lb. rated. : http://www.summitracing.com/search/Part-Type/Wheels/Rim-Diameter-in/14-in/Wheel-Bolt-Pattern/4-x-137mm/Load-Rating-lbs/1-124-lbs/?keyword=atv wheel Doug
  16. I don't remember exactly. I think two or three mfgs use that bolt pattern. Tires, the new ones are DOT legal too. BTW, I've looked at Summit ATV 14" wheels in that bolt pattern. They have a 1124 lb. load rating. The center hole is about 10 mm too small, the way it looks. About 80.00 ea. http://www.summitracing.com/search/Part-Type/Wheels/Rim-Diameter-in/14-in/Wheel-Bolt-Pattern/4-x-137mm/?keyword=atv wheel Take a look at those. My Subaru weighs 2400 lbs soaking wet right now. Doug
  17. As Jerry said, they did. I think what you want to know is to ask for a 5 speed 4X4 Justy. They're push button single range transmission. Doug
  18. NEW 15-INCH OPTION ADDED TO SS212 LINE ITP breaks new ground with its first 15-inch wheel. 19. "Have I just not ever seen an EA82 with a sight glass on the carb?" Me either, but I haven't seen them all. And, he said it ran rough before he tore into it. If he has a plugged power valve and or worn bores in the base, it still won't run right. Doug
  20. "This weekend I will be changing the plugs and adjusting the valves..." If you do a compression test while the plugs are out...well, just do it before you go looking for more power. Doug
  21. Hey Rick, I suggest an "Itallian" tune up, if you haven't done that. I suggest that you run whatever grade fuel that it needs too. Any ping is BAD. Some folks around here will tell you that car is junk, or that you should EJ it. Hard to say, it may have vacume leaks, or failing valve seals. How do the spark plugs look? Doug
