Dealer couldn't figure it out. They're ordering a whole new system. Seems like the pricey way to do it to me, but it's their call. PITA thou', I have to arrange to drop-off/pick-up the car again. I wish dealers that say they have service-loaners actually had to have a decent number of them. -pete

Thanks, I had tried that initially. That was my thought as well. I also tried the fuse, same deal. It's weird, it obviously boots, then just sits there at that darn "I agree" screen. Oh well, unless someone has something else to check I'll call the dealer tomorrow... -pete

Yeah, thanks guys:clap: I'll try the fuse. I was hoping to avoid the giant hassle with a dealer drop-off and having someone follow me there, if there was a simple way to reset it. -pete

My 07 quit responding to the "I agree" button on the touchscreeen yesterday. I've had this a couple of times before when it was cold, but not recently. No amount of key on/off and/or cycling the odometer display, etc seems to make a difference. Anyone else hit this and solve it? Thanks, -pete

Sport-Sharp means the flatter-torque curve mode with quicker down-shifts and slower up-shifts. Basically it makes the car drive more like it's advertised:)

Does anyone know of a way to make the S# mode always-on in an Outback XT? I know it won't engage until it's warmed up a bit, but I'd prefer not to have to switch over to the mode every time I start the car again. Seems like another Subaru gotcha', much like the "I agree" button on the Nav system. I'm hoping someone has figured out a way around this? Thanks, -pete

Just got my '07 XT and am hoping to be able to get into the maintenance mode as per previous postings. I've tried all the suggested codes on this site, legacyGT, etc. Anyone have known good codes for newer models? Thanks, -pete

I'm trading in my '05 (bought mid 04) VDC and I've still got the full Gold warranty. I want to figure out the value prior to showing up at the dealer tomorrow (getting a new XT Outback), but got nothing from the Subaru extended warranty helpline. They just said there would be some pro-rate, but couldn't help me with the formula or much else. Anyone know the numbers? Thanks, -pete

Sorry, I should've been more explicit. It's a 2005, with the digital climate. I've seen others that operate the way your Acura does. On the OBW, the default is to control each side with sepreate nobs. Nothing in the manual about controlling them in tandem, or a way to switch to that mode. I'd guess there's a hidden mode, but I haven't been able to find it by trying various button combos.

Anyone know if there's a secret setting to enable this? I'd like to be able to have the two sides in sync and follow one knob for adjustment. Thanks, -pete
