Leeroy did you buy the GSR at seaford that was on ebay last week, I looked at it on the last day of bidding, was dissapointed that it didnt ave the original motor. The guy also said his son has a 1400 gft with he twin carb and 5 speed. I hadnt seen it but asked if i could have first refusal if he ever sells it. Cheers Thierry -

Maybe you might try to get it plastic welded and buid it up, file it down and drill the pin hole. Pain in the bum job Cheers Thierry -
What wheels fit a gen1 4wd?
maudsland replied to the sucker king's topic in Historic Subaru Forum: 50's thru 70's
wheels from the ea81 cars should fit, they have less back space, the H wheel were from that model from memory. Cheers Thierry -

Air cooled motor doesnt sound promising Cheers Thierry -
I never heard of that engine and that period of time nothing subaru slipped by me, subaru only came back into rally in australia in 86 with the rx turbo, before that it was in the mid 70's with the rx1400 which i saw one when i bought my second ff1. But in saying it could of slipped pass me with out my knowing. SUB4 from NZ make 4 port heads for the ea81 for aircraft use.http://www.autoflight.co.nz/dominator/engine-1.jpg Cheers Thierry

maudsland replied to moosens's topic in Historic Subaru Forum: 50's thru 70's
the dipstick tube should just press out and replace with another one no problems. that is if you want a dip stick Thierry
