Hi PPl its nice to be a part of this site, hope someone can help
My engine EA81just doesnt want to run smooth.
everytime i pull up at a stop sign etc, it wants to stall. heel toe is the only thing stopping that at the mo. i ve just wound up the idle jet a few turns to stop doing that, but its still running rougher than a 2 dollar hooker.
Heres what ive done so far,
Replaced the points (the gap is fine)
Retimed it
replaced all the spark plugs (gaps are fine)
replaced all the spark plugs leads
stripped down and blown out the carby
tuned the carby
new air filter
new fuel filter
any ideas please, im gonna lose my mind

Okay, if finished checking the vacuum hoses.
they are all okay. no probs at all.
i also checked wiring. doesnt seem to be any probs there. but i must ahve missed something cos im sure its a lose wire somewhere.
i checked the wire that comes off the solinoied mounted on the front of the carby, that was a bit loose and dirty, but i cleaned it up with some sandpaper etc and a pair of pliers and its in there good now,
i thort that made a difference cos when i started the car again she ran real smooth for about thirty sec, then it was like somone flipped a switch and away it went again just like the proverbial hooker.
im still going nuts here.
any more ideas?
what other wiring should i check?
thanks
