  1. He had forgotten about the fact that coupe doors work and I explained all that so sure give him a try.
  2. Still has Coupes there, same doors. I left before examining them. And they're still on cars. Lots more done today. Getting thinned out now. Very tired.
  3. Probably still has loose doors. I'll be there in a few hours. He probably doesn't want to bother unless you're driving there to pick one up. Shipping at this point will likely have to wait. It's a small tornado of affairs now. Looking at other location , trying to keep money coming in through repairs , and of course the very physical end of things with the move.
  4. Might be one. He had at least one or two of those little red hatchbacks at one time or another. Tomorrow I'll be there , could not do today. Charlie's deadline has been extended to Feb. 18th Now we just have to deal with New England weather in February.
  5. He most definitely has doors for you and in great shape. He has a few two doors (Coupes ,Hatches) which cross over to the Brat - just change the glass. I should be up there either later today or tomorrow. But call him and leave a message please. Very tough time right now for the next few days so please be patient. What color did you need? I'm pretty sure I saw a light blue from around 1982-4 with tan inner panel just hanging around loose.
  6. No sweat. Neo is his name and I've known him for about 10 years or so but I'm not a close friend. He's a good guy and I trust his work. All I can say is check it out like any other car. He may be having difficulties from treatments he's going through. Give him a little time and he'll get back to you. Good luck with it.

  7. Yeah I thought he might have one of those 2x4 kind but I guessed wrong. Or he forgot. :)

I'll be getting to my stuff in warmer weather.

    Good luck.

    Paul

  8. EW- I got your front windshield out looking sweet just a little dirty. Last one on the planet???? Very busy here in Salem. Talk to you soon.
  9. Hood hinge is a typical problem. Everybody who hasn't gotten that yet TAKE NOTE, Beater car was the last one I had like that and I just used Tek screws to anchor it back down. Looks like yours could be fixed correctly since there's no real rust like many of ours will have.
  10. Turbo wagon at Charlie's and plenty of plain black bumpers too.
  11. You can take yours off easily, four bolts and not a lot else. Then you can inspect it and maybe even clean up the rust and spray can it over with some undercoating or ? and then pass inspection. Just a thought. And ctsuba has one here in CT if you really can't score one.
  12. ctsuba - Charlie has to move and Subafreak and I were there yesterday to help. There's tons of stuff there. Please check my posts all over this board about this situation. to reach the man its eight six oh tu zero tu thirtyfour eightyfive Located in Salem CT
  13. You check with Subaru3 - Todd , yet? I appreciate your offering but I know he's closer and is cleaning house too. If not I'll be happy to help. I'm going up to that location either tomorrow or Saturday and will grab those and whatever else I can that I think will sell. Talk to you soon, Paul
  14. More than likely you only need another handle which can be had from any Stage II 1977-thru 1979 car or another Brat up to '81
  15. Was a car show in Stratford at the airport. The kids loved my 78 wagon but the party needed a Brat.
  16. On the drivers side of the engine you'll see a black plastic "flying saucer" looking thing. Take the hoses off and see it it's begun to disintegrate. Check that metal housing thing with the metal tab valve inside. Has hard metal pipes and four philips screws hold the flapper in. Just my thought from what I recall of my 1800 ohv days.
