  1. Not in public. It's up along the MA/NY border. If we meet in Danbury we'll be there in about an hour. I'm thinking Mike will contact us with the secrect entrance, Don't forget its hunting season.
  2. Sundays are tricky for my schedule so I'll have to leave before dark for sure. Yeah we'll pack a small cooler. And shoot for 9am up around the spot.
  3. I'll see if I can pull one out this weekend. If someone has one handy and wants to step in I'm ok with that. I know Charlie -ctsuba has some of my old grills and I might be at his place tomorrow.
  4. We'll probably be there in my 78 4wd wagon. Jesse , the money will be tight and your old Subaru questionable but you'll be going anyways. Lol
  5. I have a beautiful Stage I GF grill that was supposed to go to Elad in Israel like 8 years ago. Sorry that doesn't really help , but I will check my stash as I get back that far in storage. No parts manuals handy right now but are those the same as the rest of the line with 4 headlights? I've got a number of those hanging around - or threw some to ctsuba or Subafreak.Either way I'm sure there's a half dozen of them here in CT , let me know what you find.
  6. No , and I'm waiting to hear from Chris L in Muskegon who got an extra because I neglected to scratch his name from the list when he needed his early (my last old stock). He is supposed to send it over and I'll get him paid for shipping. Not the biggest deal but trying to wrap things up with a handful of people/situations where a little communication would go a long way. But , little to no replies in a few cases. Israel ??? Package sent - please contact me and pay shipping and last gasket. Nollie - where are you ??? need your address.... Thanks for a quick reply !
  7. No need to reply , just bumping up. Thanks again to everybody involved.

  10. Thanks for all the help!!!! Nolan , Nollie , and the guys in Isreal yours will be out on Monday. Sorry for my delays !! Cheers!
  11. I sure will try. I think my wagon can climb that boulder. Near Albany ? Jesse , you see this? Brat would complete the picture. Thanks for asking, Mike !!
  12. I'll get back on track this weekend. I'll have a better idea of how many are left. Nolan , I just saw an envelope for me today. Pardon me for not seeing it sooner. I'll get yours out ASAP.
  13. Thanks Lee ! Still nasty out here but I do now have my 78 out eating snow. Cheers!
  14. What colors ? Fenders people have been after. Front valance if not banged up is another item. Good luck. I'm all set for now.
  15. In my mind it's about 6 inches rear of the carb. Easiest seen and worked from passenger side. Take the spare out to assist but I think you can get it with the spare in. I just had my hands on it when I swapped my pedal box. I might be getting my old 78 at lunch. I'll get my nose in there and get back. Snow here! Snow Shark time !!!
  16. All boxed with 5 gaskets ready to shop to you. Then came the hurricane and just not much time lately during open hours for Post Office. I should have it out tomorrow , Monday , and will contact you with info. I'll do my best to make the document you mentioned and have it in a clear plastic pouch for the guys on your end to hopefully pass through without tarrifs, etc. Talk to you soon! Nollie , you too. And maybe Nolan ? Have to check but it's almost done now with maybe three left and I need one now myself. I'm certain to hold one maybe two.
  17. Look close. Basically , you have a clutch that's hard , you struggle , you stress the metal and crack the pedal box on the left side - right if you're right hand drive. Causes you to think you're losing your mind and adjust the cable constantly only to have it go back to not shifting. You may noticed yours was repaired. Keep a good cable , adjusted well , hanger spring and return spring. You can take the pin out for the clutch and brake and grease it up for much better action. The one I got to replace mine was sticky but when I took my car's box out it was super sticky. New box feels great. If you do this job I suggest finding a medium duty spring hook to hang that accelerator pedal which relies on the spring to secure it to its post. Needlenose pliers came to the rescue. You have to have the acc. pedal OFF when fishing the box into place OR have removed the steering column - NOT needed unless you were planning work on that component as well. I used the factory service manual and it walked thru real well. Only my struggles with that spring mentioned and a couple little time sappers from having to work in such a tight spot and sometimes all twisted up. Feels great after all that driving around grinding gears and having to turn the car off to shift into reverse!
  18. Stage I handle has a different look. Curious if size is a match. You might need Stage II late 77 thru 79.
