Looks far enough away from the building for blasting. I could use the white plastic type timing hole cover. Hood release cable any good? Good collars for the air cleaner box are hard to find too. If that one is good it's worth something to most Gen. I owners. If it has an electronic distributor that's worth taking. 4WD shift lever if plastic handle intact. Do not try to unscrew the handle!!! Guy currently was looking for a windshield here but he's not in a hurry now. -

I don't have my old FPM's handy , so can you send me a pic of one to match up? PM or moosens at yahoo -
Mobile spa , dude you're going to get rich!! Drive it down to Westport and housewives with too much money will flock to you. Go park outside Stew Leonards and you'll be swimming in MILF. *************** galore. Lol I think it's the added fresh cold air. Seal madness! Enjoy, and Happy New Year!!

Hey man , here's where its at. Those are my axles he's talking about. I have what I have and I'll be happy to show all as I can get them out. Meanwhile I do understand from experience and talk here that some axles aren't going to last as long ,etc ... You guys didn't mention the name that my Subaru Parts guy told me does rebuilds. Maybe they use more than one company for each coast?

Bump for timing and valve setting. Stock carb. for now. Pretty sure the dual carb setup I have will go on this engine in the springtime. -

Earl , WTF ??? :-p:D So what the heck do I have here? It seems to behave like it has a lumpy cam. Haven't had much time to set timing and go back over everything but I do have the old points and air gap set right. No time for any of this fun lately. I have the timing gun and am ready to shoot soon , but now what degree am I timing it to? I'm short three carbs not and even when I do get my dual carb setup rigged apparently I'll stil be short two carbs and none of what I have will be Weber either. tsk tsk .....should of threw that used longblock in .... -

Killing me , no time to finalize this tune up. Gotta shoot the timing then re-check everything. Looks like I need to throw on the dual carb. to match up to this block and cam. Gonna need some custom exhaust. -

Yeah make arrangement once you have the glass in your hands. Tell the guy you'll have the old glass out and like Miles said but maybe go the whole way since its just using a scraper and being careful to remove all the trim first. You've got a spot of rust on one of those legs , don't you? I seem to remember one little spot happening. You want to get that nice and flat. Little topcoat and a sanding block. So maybe even get that glass out the day before and make sure the windshield's seat will be clean and flat with no rust bubbles ,etc. Things you do to save dough. Good luck. Oh , there's cut resistant gloves out there , worth the investment for all sorts of use. -

OK . stopping in quick while home. Speak , tell , talk .... is the cam in my "M" engine HOT ?? What's in an "M" ? I really need to go over timing ,etc. I rushed a bit to get it off the rental property before they raise the rent. First ran smooth , then shut it off and it ran choppy when restarted. I moved the disty around to find hapiness but had no time to properly check timing. Also need to go over the valve adjutments - no biggie Jesse. If I didn't know how off the timing is ,etc. etc. I'd say it has a lumpy cam. :-p
