  1. ?? for me It's those new folks ..welcome east coast ...Our group is located across from the Italian cars and "against" the other Asian cars. Within spitting distance of Hondas. just kidding. .... Are we up to a handful yet?
  2. Damn you for not getting me out wheeling in Voluntown ! You'll have to make it up to me. See Charlie ...please , and don't forget that '74 needs attention too. Screw Colonial Subaru. I don't even like typing their name - ptuey! Qoute of the YEAR!!! -
  3. Bill, Send pics of undercarriage and any additional info to moosens@yahoo.com

  5. Didn't do Charlie's place ,, talk to you later or sometime soon.
  6. Do it ! Might be up at Charlies Monday AM. Maybe we can get together for lunch. Otherwise, keep in touch.
  7. Yeah! Tough to bother with a camera after a hard effort, but if you can some of us here would really appreciate it. How do you guys down there say it? "git 'er done!!!" Couple of guys up here with several to "many" older Subarus that could use the same kind of effort to continue life on the road. Hi ctsuba ! I'd get that '82 on eBay right now if I had a welder and space to work.....or any one of a number of east coast Subarus for that matter.
  8. Should the title read something about East Coast Meet? Just a minor thought to attract some more flies to the well, you know what I mean. It's really a National meet but don't tell anyone.
  9. Very nice. Is that you speaking Italian? Lots of views on those vids! Ciao!
  10. Hope you got some sleep. I'm going to see Charlie later today. Might swing up your way over the weekend. Looks like they wiped the mod out of me,so I'm just another member ,yeah that kind, ...again. Jesse, remind me to talk to you about a possible road trip.
  11. Hi Bill.

Been seeing this car of yours for months. Did you ever get any pics of the underside? Since you're a new user there's no Private Message feature for you so I guess this will do for now. What can I help you with? Keep in mind I work overnights and take on more work, have 2 kids, etc. so pardon any extended time required before replies.

  12. The bumper a the dead give-away. It's a '72 or '73. Most likely a '73. Her centercaps look great from here. Steal them for me!
  13. You're in the right part of PA and have the right era of Subaru. Welcome! Enjoy the snow!
  14. thanks Mike! http://www.flickr.com/photos/26905545@N07/sets/72157605926523746/detail/?page=5
  15. Check what "ettev" did with his, please. And there's another guy who bought my old Gen II. He's in NH but I can't think of his board name.
  16. Wicked as they come! That's why I'm not an admin, just a lowly mod... Talk to you soon ... and please see if you can get together with our man "ctsuba" a.k.a. Charlie.
  17. So has anyone actually seen one of these unicorn 4WD 70's sedans? Wondering how many they actually made and what market(s) they were in. OK,I gave in and watched the movie. Pretty funny to watch that chase scene. Was that a fiberglass fender on the white car? I have one, maybe two, can't rememebr if I ever got the other side. I'll need to go back and hit pause sometime to get some ideas transposed to my own cars. You can tell the red one if 4WD from the stance and when he throws it in reverse - that sound.
  18. Have to get lucky and find some on eBay as folks sell old stock items. No other source I'm aware of.
  19. Well I guess its a slow process. Just keep in mind no matter how the admins play this out I'll be backing off and funnelling down my board and Subaru activity. I'm thinking that the nice folks in charge here figure time will pass and my heart will change. Cheers!
  20. Don't take this the wrong way, please. I'll surely use your method or mfg'd parts for something I'd use for fun. As for restos I have some NOS. No,everybody,I don't have extras, sorry.
  21. Same engine/fuel delivery as a GSR from Austrailia,Japan .... not sure where else? Very few of those left too. Can you post pictures without those advertisments? The ad screen goes black and blocks the pictures. So that looks to be around $4,000 USD ... not bad to me! The body, interior, and most of the car matches up to many still out there. Check Isreal for the closest to you if parts are needed. Our former '76 sedan is now at a dealer in Sweden, restored with around 37,000 miles on it. Sweden didn't get Subarus untill around 1982,so the buyer told me. All sedans and coupes of the bodystyle will be FWD only. That's the case here and as far as I know all over the world as well.
  22. Achtung !!!! WOW!!! fantastic example!! I'm thinking that could be a 1600 .... outside chance its a 1400 but I'm less familiar with the European market Subarus. I'll be back ! Not much time to drool or conversation right now.
  23. Hi Matt, I'll still be active, and married but just want to sidestep a bit. I'm going back to the path I was cutting about 3 years ago. Closing chapters and writing new, smaller ones. Projects coming soon and trying to get another business going as this economy hopefully creeps back to life. It's wicked bad here in the northeast. Don't believe a word of the garbage they tell you/us on the mass media trashboxes. But that's its own malady. One day we'll have to chat like I intended to once upon a time. I sure do want to make a trip to AK someday. cheers!
