  1. Yabba dabba doooooooooo No work Friday !!!! see ya
  2. Sounds great ! Hope you can make Carlisle PA for the Import Kit/Replicar Show with our small but enthusiastic group of vintage Subaru owners. May 15-17 If you can sign up under the Ultimate Subaru name in the draw down menu when you register it'll help us get a free tent http://www.carsatcarlisle.com/ce/events/import/ Probably about the same distance for you as it is for us up here. You can pretty much count on my taking a trip down I-81 sometime in the next couple of years. Without question I want to take the family to the western hills , see Danny W a.k.a. "drivesubies" from this board who lives in TN. He's got some serious Subaru restorations going on and is hardcore about them. Gotta run , sleep later , see you guys tomorrow ...
  3. NGK blue wires show up once in a while on eBay. Here you go: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SUBARU-NGK-SPARK-PLUG-WIRES-FITS-VARIOUS-YEARS-FE21_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2em20Q2el1116QQhashZitem280299981012QQitemZ280299981012QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories If you don't buy them I might j/k I've got plenty for now..... F21 kids, that's the NGK product code for our old EA71 wires. cheers!
  4. Hey Nollie, I sent a private message to you. Sure do have much of what you need. Love those mountains out there!!!! Are you near Boone? We just had our '79 4WD wagon hit and now have passed it along to a fellow in MD. Still have a '79 Brat and '78 4WD wagon to play with for now. Good to see one more East Coast Vintage owner ! Talk to you soon, Paul
  5. Thanks but I'll be a while getting over to your place. I'm at least a couple thousand miles away. :-\ Consider shipping cut sections?
  6. Welcome back. Curious to know your view of the new "World Leader" installed here. But not on the board. You're not the guy that was a stickler on spelling, right? just bustin em .. my keyboard is sticky from the kids htat's my excuse. Nice to know you're not just lurking anymore. Enjoy the ride. ..and seriously its good to have you back.
  7. Would stink to register our cars and still have to chip in for a tent....but I'll do it. Yes,bummer year all around. Ain't gettin no better anytime soon up here. More peeps out of work. Crimes in the paper lately show more folk getting deperate. The usual baby formula busts ,smashed windows with minimal goods taken ,etc. America the Limping Dog Crossing the Busy Street. 39 days ?? Yikes ! But this happens every year. We up here in the right corner get the extended winter weather that they try to sell us as spring. Not enough time for prep for the event if you have kids or are typically busy with work. :-\
  8. Thanks Jerry but I have to pass again this year. Wife changed jobs , too little vacation time for her. I know I should just take my son and go out there but probably not untill I've got enough cash set aside to do some shopping when I'm out there. Maybe 2010
  9. Oustanding ! Lovely young one too. But , dang you for releasing the bug on me ..... There's typical 360s and then there's your Cali btchin 360's. Fine work. I'll be sure to buddy up with you when the bug gets ahold of me. Thanks very much for the video.
  10. I'm in on that if Galen passes. Let me know what's left of it for pieces, please.
  11. And all the bad people are here on the east. That's Todd -a.k.a. Subaru3 in Useless Texas.
  12. Hey great scenery there.... Sorry, but I think we'd all rather see the car than the road it travels over. Sure is a cutie. Would like to see more of the car. How about a little tour with all the doors and hatches open? I for one would really love that. I've avoided the 360 bug for a while but every springtime you know they all come out try to bite me. What would work here would be an electric "automatic" 360 van for my wife. I'd be a sucker for a pickup or van too.
  13. Guys,I'm going to send pooparoo one of those sets from the 1975 "Four Wheel Drive" .... just give me a little more time. And I need to make an order for him too. So to the original poster - I have one or two of those in fair condition. I'll do my best to locate one soon. There's one on my 4WD wagon that obviously does not belong there so maybe I'll snag that one for you. PM coming ...don't move
  14. I was lucky to have Corky cut and send some to me. And I think one other guy also - maybe NorthWet helped out with a small section. You know .... I've been asking on and off for a couple of years now for the same cut sections, etc. Not only for patch repairs but also for fiberglass repro sections or panels. For a while we on the east coast kind of got tired of hearing how there were still so many out there (PNW) etc.... well with all there is I'm kind of surprised that nobody has stepped up to do any cutting of any kind in over two plus years of asking. I'd pay for strut tops, rocker panels, quarter panels or even just lower sections of 1/4's that could be for mold making.
  15. Sale people promising more than they can (excuse me - WE can...) deliver??? Nah ... your kidding me. Hope Ray gets scorched. We might be down that way next weekend. Have to see as the week goes on.
  16. Matt, have a coffee ...... Carlisle dammit I don't think anyone here cares what I have registered with the State DMV. 3 3 for me and you???????????? (not you Matt - those who have chosen to wait.) Don't forget the Reptile/Amphibian Show going on that weekend right there at the Exhibit Hall. hssssssssssss We'll be slithering thru
  17. Talked to him. Seems like a good guy. Hoping to get more info tomorrow. It's a 4 door Mfg. date is Aug. '72 so its a 1973 Stage I ( that pertains to 1973 ONLY - not the usual Stage I for 1977). NOT a Coupe or 2door
  18. We're in the drop down menu !!!!! Wow now that's status !! Just got 3 registered. Didn't register the one I might bring - the '79 Brat. We'll see what shows up. Food thread ....
  19. If he trailers it to and fro' he should be able to use the trails just like the dirt bikes and ATV's.
  20. I'm pretty sure I have the manual you need -Steve. I'll go digging next chance I get. Pretty much have all FPM's from 1968 up thru the early 80's and some others pat that and into the 90's. The box with the majority of those manuals is easily accessible. Next time at storage I'll snag the 1970 and all ff-1 stuff to compare. Sorry for the hijack.
