  1. Column light, '72-73 only...here. p/n 6841 48080 -1972 and 6841 48180 -1973 interchangable new to old
  2. Holy CRAP you passed me !!!! 11,263 for you here....but of course,by now you've posted eighteen more times Congrats,Nipper, you are now officially the number one board loser. :-p Thanks for taking the title.
  3. We were working on getting some made up or find a suitable match but kind of dropped the ball. So,what about those filters? I can understand about parts cars being nonexistant...same story here. I've not searched very hard but when I did I can't come up with anything for those airboxes...so when you get around to checking for yourself, please let me know. I/we have several used examples of door weatherstrips from coupes and two doors, etc. from 1973 and up. Just very unorganized right now and not all in my possession. But we'll help you out if we can.
  4. I have the front windshield gaskets, but we both need a solution for the rear glass. Car is sweet! Same color as my GL1400 Coupe. Hate to ask now but I need one or two of those air filters! A man in England had some listed on eBay recently but the shipping was completely insane for two filters. I may end up spending a lot on shipping anyways, but if you locate any, please let me know and I'm pretty sure I'll let the postal folks take my money. If there are any parts cars around, please let me know. There's only a handful of these coupes here in the USA that are worth running. Mine is one of them. Thanks for the push! I've had countless thoughts of blowing through my '73 this weekend.
  5. Wow,that's gonna be a heck of a project. Good luck with it,Mike. Please keep us posted and if there happens to be anything I have left to donate I sure will. Nice score of the wheel arches. Are rockers stil available?
  6. If the passenger floor ever got really wet you'll have corrosion on the wires and connectors from that realy under the passenger seat. Lift the front carpet up entirely and check the wires, trust me on this one,it was a major problem discovered only after swapping switches and relays.
  7. Good car for the times. Cam seals and O rings, front main, pumps, water tube O ring, you know the deal. I still have a place in my heart for those SPFI fivespeeds. Keep the covers on! I'm pro timing cover. just use antiseize. Somewhere I have new parts and timing belt kit, etc. for those cars. If they show up soon I'll give you a PM. Also have new sensors, one or two. I just had those same Blue Thunder wires in my hands. for the SPFI too. Good luck with it.
  8. Dry,then squirted some clear silicon under the top edge (very thin caulk bead) and under the upper ears thick enough to fill the gap between the glass and metal and ooze out when the the ear was set back down. And,I hit the lower corners too just a bit.
  9. To the guy who sent out the email to the moderators....I'm leaving this here. If another mod feels it should be moved then fine. Please guys, don't be so fussy about what you think belongs here and shoot off at the drop of a hat. We know what to do and if you can please be patience one of us will catch any post that does not pertain to this forum. thanks This vehicle is quite historic. Bug...trying ....to....bite....me......stay away you 360 bug!! stay away!!!
  10. Fronts were inboard drums on the ff-1's.
  11. There was a G here. 1300 in an ff-1 shell. Kind of wish that ff-1 resto going on went that direction, but not to be. holy grail for sure to a few of us old schoolers drooooooool
  12. Very nice! That would look even better with a set of sport mags and stripe kit.
  13. Car: 1979 4WD wagon Went well. Ran into the dark but got it in. Tomorrow I'll squirt some sealant in behind the upper ears. Used a rope about 3/16 diameter. Ran the tails out at the bottom near center. Had a helper hold pressure here and there. Found out afterward that you want that helper pushing down when you go to pull the rope along the top edge. Ended up tucking the inner lip around the metal and ceiling liner 1/2 inch at a time to complete. Needed to since I'd already pulled the rope past those points. All things considered it went well. I'd say it's fairly easy for just about anyone. Water test still in the midwest...should be here in a day or so. Otherwise I'm glad for the sunshine so the gasket seats well. If it doesn't rain in a couple days I'll gardenhose test it. Have a great summer!!!!!!!!!!
  14. July 11-12 New England Forest Rally Bethel, MEJuly 18-20 Grand Am Cup Race Barber Motorsports Birmingham, ALJuly 19-22 AVMA Annual Conference New Orleans, LAJuly 22 Seek the Peak North Conway, NH Anyone else willing to blow the dough to get there? No promises but I'd love to take my son to one of these N.E. events.
  15. Yup,we're looking at going to see the ivy on the walls. Not sure when, which game, etc. Son is a huge Cubs fan - and born a Yankee - so he's on that kick most baseball fans dream about where you try to get to the best old staduims before they're all gone. You guys could see us just about any weekend over the summer. Nothing is certain but we sure are leaning HARD toward first base. Please let me know if you'd like to meet up or if you know of good Cubs tickets. Thanks! Would be willing to devote a half day to yard hopping, but I know the rust zone extends out that way too. Could use some 1990 -up Legacy stuff, not much but ... for the sake of getting together and yard hopping. Could be the Cubs year !
  16. Steve, you live near Premier Subaru, somewhat, right? Go there, get Charlie Miller the Senior Master Tech off to the side and talk to him.
  17. Guessing that "M" on the end of the ID number means Modified ?? Good luck with it. I'll chime in if I see something someone else doesn't.
  18. There's an upgrade metal gear for that governor too. Least expensive and least time consuming.
  19. Sure will, but also check that the latch itself isn't starting to mangle. Might have to remove the grill and the latch to view it properly. Takes only a few minutes - grill 4 screws - latch 2 bolts and then carefully work the latch out to view it. If you have A/C be carefull of the condenser fins. Trying to replace a cable right now but with the moving I have going on I can't seem to take any time to get this done as easy as it should be.And it needs to be done so I can park the car elsewhere without worrying about someone opeing the hood and ripping off my battery, etc. When I pulled the latch out I could see the loops around the receiver were well bent up,like everyone else's I suppose. They (latches) have that reputation of tweaking out. One thing that I'm pretty sure is holding me up is the clamp that holds the cable onto the radiator support - its not there :-\ so I need to hunt one down. Without the cable being locked down at that point the entire cable will just slide with your every pull.
  20. Chances are the latch is starting to tweak out a little. Or the cable just getting tired. Either way,you have lube and replace as options only. Good luck. I have several of these in new and good used condition. If you can wait untill June then ask me, I can hook you up. Also have latches in good used condition.
  21. :slobber: I can't think right now. talk to you later oh my gawd :slobber:
  22. I hit the back button the first time, then I saw you, knew it'd be tastefully put. Bad etiquette,eh? Spiffy,it's a National Import and Kit/Replicar Show. Been that way for a long time. Most of those cars blow our Subarus away. The Noble?
