  1. I've got you,Dave,Melissa,Keith, and I think Jon on my cell phone. I'll be sure to call when the blessed day arrives should you not reply here.
  2. Unfortunately you won't find it over here in this forum. You need to check the Older Generation of Subarus and maybe post in the Subaru Stuff Wanted forum as well. This is the Historic Forum. Dedicated to the pre-80's car for now. Exception being the '80 and '81 Brat and some folks with 1600's who stop in. This is one heck of a task,to me. If you do it I'll pay for a set even though I own every FPM,FSM,pricing guide, and several other pieces of dealer/service dept. literature from the begining of SOA in 1968 thru the mid 80's and then some. My books are old, heavy, and moldy smelling which can give me a wicked migraine/sinus headache. So far CD's haven't done that to me. Well, there was that time somebody put on a Pearl Jam CD and I got sick ......blargh!!!!! :-p
  3. Yes,I need a place to work first. Also need to invest in some equipment to do it right or work with someone. I've made some really cool ducts and cowls/scoops but they aren't a real serious product. I'm still learning but when i get space to work things will really start to happen. So far I've screwed around and made some cool tube stock, rod stock, flat sheet stock, some interesting shapes including really cool superlight-weight funnels, some door panels from my friend's Lotus Elan....
  4. G-man,it's for a stage II 77 or 78 4WD wagon only. enjoy!
  5. http://www.wegotused.com/FebHazle.gif Feb. specials above. I don't see myself being able to get there untill late March, most likely.
  6. Here's a tease to get them warmed up. This is from my own factory PM's. Good luck with that.
  7. Hey, I need the name and number of that German name place off rt. 61 Diewechter??? If you're going north on 61 it's on the right. Probably a few (5?) miles north of rt. 78 and cabella's,etc....
  8. My wishes: Faust in Allentown, although I can be persuaded to blow by it if I get a negative report (Subarus were across the new highway being built which was two feet of mud last time we were there). they had a Gen I BRAT and some other oldies, not a bad yard at all. the Rt. 61 places (and those just off 61) then Harry's Thinking early April. Kick it around.
  9. Must not stop by thet much,eh??? We fella,if you ever see this maybe consider the Carlisle show. again...nice BRAT !!! especially for CT
  10. Glad you wanted to be in charge. But seriously,I'll do my best to help out with money or effort.
  11. I'll pass along the info to wagonsonly. He needs an engine kind of bad. edit, just did....he should see it later. I'll be down that way pretty soon. Just got a JDM tranny from a place in Philly. Might make the rounds west on 78, up 61 -81 - to Harry's with all the possiblities along the way.
  12. YOUR the GUY !!! Well, with several of us interested can you post a seperate thread with a picture so we can verify which style it is? I can't help but think that you got the one I was trying to buy. He didn't want to budge on the price back when my money was tight as a frog's you know what.
  13. Seeing no reason at this time why I wouldn't be there. Good year for earplugs? Most likely going to be a Friday arrival this year. Not sure about entire family or just Luc coming. More goodies to give away this year, for sure. Nobody got into the lobster ravioli so pardon me for wolfing down a heap of them before we left. Anyone who knows me well will tell you I hate wasting good food. So this year I'll come up with something more people actually will eat. Always like having something unique. Might show up with some West Indian vegetarian and some Hungarian meat products. Both ends of the spectrum. Clotter and reamer.
  14. Hey,if you zoom in you can see the X-Terra still stuck there. I think I saw one of my mudflaps too. :-p Yes,we're anxious to get in the woods. We'll be seeing you soon,I just know it. No sence waiting for a group as long as we have at least two vehicles. There's usually a third guy who jumps in....we'll see who pops out of the cabin and who stays in the cave. Luc says hi. He's asking and asking........
  15. Stage I 4WD !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry,but that is NOT a 1978. Please check and see if its a '75
  16. Rustfree turbo wagon up here if you want to talk to me. Currently upstate awaiting headgasket job.
  17. Still trying to make it work but that weekend so far doesn't look good for me.
  18. Hey bud,saw you on the Merrit/Wilbur Cross Pkwy. on Tuesday around 2:30 or so. You said you were a USMB member..... I've seen you before, coming down Rt. 8 if I'm correct. Nice BRAT. Is that the one from an older guy in Trumbull? Oh,your BRAT was blowing some dark smoke...just a bit,but I think you were going up hill....might want to check that distributor/timing. Watch for those plastic silencers melting chunks into the carb. too. Sorry I couldn't chat at the time. Hope to see you around. Paul
  19. Right on,Mike !!! Hope to see you again sometime....like maybe VA Beach or better yet,OBX !!!!
  20. 1979 manual shift cars that are not 4WD According to the FPM it does NOT interchange with those previous. I have no idea why. Also the older rads. apparently do not interchange forward into '79.
