  1. Reminds me of galvanized paint. Swwwwweeeeeeet!
  2. Not sure on the 24th yet. But YES,the infamous,semi-legendary '89 Touring wagon now rests awaiting it's final destination.:-\ Ever see the pics of it at PB with the front wheels a good 18" in the air?? Pics might still be floating around here somewhere. Man we had some GREAT times with that car.Did at least 3 tours of duty at the Barrens, including camping with my son.
  3. Yes,please tell.Need one here too. Advanced Auto can get one for the same price, just haven't been able to follow through yet.
  4. OK,but I just remembered that my cars up there were both 4WD,so the rear drums are different. But Charlie has lots of cars there.Andrew's white '82 GLF is supposed to go there soon, maybe that will help. One way or the other we should be able to help you out. If I don't answer the phone just leave a message.
  5. Bosco, sorry I didn't call back yet. I'll check my FPM and see if that helps you....got kids right now, talk to later.
  6. What about all those car Andrew has to get rid of? He must have something to offer in extras....or Charlie.Andrew was going to send another turbo wagon down to Charlie's.... As far as I'm concerned you are welcome to go over to Charlie's and pick anything you need off the cars I've dumped there.Except my turbo engine, which I might be retrieving soon. The semi-legengary touring wagon is up there with the engine and tranny removed.Should be cake to grap just about anything you need for this project.Brake booster,M/C,lines,fittings,nipples...just wanted to say nipples. Grab yourself some extras all around.Rotors, calipers, whatever it takes.I've taken care of Charlie so there should be no problem at all. It's a haul but it could be your best shot.Saturday looks to be raining. But they've been wrong often lately. If I can get there with you I'll be glad to help.
  7. Thus putting and end to this thread.....MAV has settled with a refund instead so this first batch is officially DONE. It'll slide down for a few days just incase someone needs to add something....
  8. Mike, can you post a list of results by class and explain each class a little just so we can see where we'd be? How'd that P1800?? Volvo do? Love those cars, especially the wagons.
  9. Always a possibility. Just a bad year for me to get up there. Sure would like to smoke the field.Nothing against the cars entered, but naturally we here feel a good old 4WD Subaru can smoke 'em. Give me time....
  10. The guys out west have to be laughing their rear bumpers off.But hey,it's stock Subies in what we've got here along the shore for trails.Good fun,for sure. Looks like you guys hit the spots we didn't get to last time. We need total beaters so you don't have to slow down.Kind of like how I treated the old '89 touring wagon....R.I.P.:-\
  11. Hey Jeff,I have a sudden interest in your wagon. I just sent back the refund for the windshield gaskets. Can you PM a phone number and good time to call?I want to ask some Q's about the wagon.
  12. NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the heck did you do??????????????? Well,it's all fun 'n games...... Glad you guys at least had a good day. Hoping to see you both in March...and hopefully with an Impreza wagon too.Spotted a decent looking one today, for sale, but in a not so great neighborhood,so we'll see about that one. Regardless,I'm going to bring something there in March, even if it's the '78. Cheers!
  13. aww come on Connie, you've got more than one friend. Whatever you think you need please ask me and I'll do my best to help. For Bucky: Between your heroe (former?)Andrew and Charlie they have plenty accessible parts, and I'll be happy to toss you whatever I have that you need that I can actually get my hands on.You know the deal. At least two cars at Charlie's are mine to still pick from. He's headed past your way soon to see a guy in Peekskill so he can probably meet you down by I-84 if you're willing, and things work out timewise. Good luck, sweety. Neither Charlie nor I have XT parts.
  14. thanks, but it's not something I'm about to do right now.
  15. more!!!! we want more information!!!! Find him, rope and tie him, whatever it takes....
  16. About the same....but still open. Let's face it,Ed threw it out there right in everyone's face. There's a special feeling about the change of seasons and seeing sunshine often.Going to be a tough search to find what nature give us here. Sure, you give up some things for others. But to toss away the change of seasons and good amount of sunshine for a lesser school system seems unlikely. Have to be honest here.I think we're going to focus on the east coast unless somehow we get a lengthy trip to the west coast in soon and it somehow convinces us.With changing of jobs fairly eminent for both of us its going to be difficult to get that trip in. But,even after changing jobs and hopefully moving THIS year we'll still do our best to get out there, even if just for entertainment purposes and minimal scouting,in 2008.
  17. No sweat,we just got back early from a small getaway to MD. I'll call soon you anyways, but my wife isn't crazy about moving to AK right now.
  18. We're across from the Italian section EVERY year. That's where the Asian cars are. From the registration house you drive straight in and take the first possible right and we are immediately on the left.
  19. Sorry guys, came home tonight. We'll talk about March real soon. Hey Frank, good to see you around. I want to climb that tower again.....can you give me directions/location?
  20. Going to take the wife and daughter for a peek at what dad 'n Luc do. This Wed. Ranger station on Rt. 206 around 1PM-2:30PM as best as I can call for now. Going in to the first obvious intersection of larger trails, taking a LEFT and cutting back northward,up to next intersction and right.Should end up over in the Batso area.Or somewhere near the Memorial. White '96 Legacy wagon with 2 adults 'n 2 kids.CT plates, can't miss us. Going to do a nice slow ride for the ladies. *****First mile or so will determine if we do the route mentioned above or if we turn around and head for highway.****** So,if its super slick,we're turning around. This time of year it is NOT a family event  in the wrong conditions.
  21. ....work,all depends on work htis year.Might be working in a helicopter plant, might be banging nails, might be relocating.....the coin is tossed,we'll see what the next handful of months brings. But thanks all around for all the offers you guys have made.I keep telling the wife how cool it is to have folks I've never seen be willing to go through all that trouble and expense...and she knows, but parting from the family when we both work, both handle kids,etc...with only her mom nearby, who does not drive....etc. just a tough deal to dump on the wife full time. Cheers!
  22. no...I don't NEED to sell off anything.It's a choice.Thanks though.
