  1. Thanks Bryan. You're welcome to call me from there if that's you'd like to.
  2. Wow,that's got to be the last hold of ff-1's on the planet other than the few scattered about. The ff-1 wagon that sits in a barn pictured here in the last couple of months is still there.I talked to the owner and I'm trying to figure a way of getting it from their baqrn in the middle of nowhere to the shipping terminal cheaply. The other ones pictured recently are either just old pictures or the one from the Tacoma WA area. That owner seems to have either sold that sedan,or decided to keep it.He hasn't spoken up here or replied to phone calls. Your brother is now the King of ff-1's on planet Earth. I can see where the original Subaru dealers got stuck with much ff-1 parts....I'm buying a lot of it right now. Did you folks have the 1000cc for very long? The 1000,1100,and 1300's are all considered reliable by our experience here.We just don't have any 1000's now and 1100's are almost as hard to find now too. There's a handfull of 1300's still around, but I'd say less than a dozen running in cars.
  3. If anyone goes there I'm seriously interested in the dangling front bumper if it's straight and not beaten.I don't care about the "stays" or brackets as some would call them.I just want the long bumper with nice ends.If it needs rechrome I'm cool with that. I'm also wanting that front passenger side seat-backrest if it's not torn. Items of interest: door panels - only if worth cleaning shifter boot - same as above shifter rod and any linkage small badge located right below the cigarette lighter-take the whole vent if needed. - only if decent, don't need it if poor quality steering column plastic cover with "illumination lamp" that sits on topside steering wheel (I do not need the ignition, combo switch,or column as a whole, just parts listed-thanks) gear shift stay boot - located going into the tranny under car axles Let me know if you're willing to help. Thanks
  4. Elad, yes I still have the grill in a box....and it'll get to you,I swear. Meanwhile, would you like to get in on the windshield gasket group buy? That way I can ship both to you. You're going to need one sooner or later.Leaky windshields cause rusty floors. Let me know.Check the thread and email me if you want to get in on the deal. Take care, Paul
  5. Got the dough, thanks. I'll make an update of the speadsheet later this week and attempt to post it...or email it to each of you.
  6. So seriously folks....there's some ff-1 parts that'll be hitting the market NEW in original boxes,etc....so shake the tree if you think you've seen one around, etc. Have any owner of ff-1's contact me. There'll be '72-77 parts too for the A-22 and A-23 series cars you all know and love. Thanks
  7. You kids made 4 pages of consideration..... somebody go. Or just meet up with me/us at Pine Barrens Rt. 206 in Atsion,NJ.....look for a date in the semi near future. I'd still be up for the offroad park near Hazelton, but could use a better weekend too.How about shoot for a better date for Hazelton, and if you guys can join in at the Pine Barrens then that's just an added pleasure. With some more time I should have a better beater for the trails,or put some effort into the "family truck" -GL Touring wagon. This weekend I'd have to either go soft,or not go at all on the trails. We need the car for cargo hauling from Harrisburg to CT.:-\
  8. Wow,I'll have to scream at FedEx over this one....those pricks. No sweat, thanks very much, and if you owe me you can bet I'll bring it up. Thanks Canada!
  9. That's right,it was a later bumper makeshift fitted to the rear. Well,I'm still wanting one.Might end up with Brian's from MT,but it's still seems a long way off. There's less than half a dozen of these known to be in driving or semi-driving condition.Andrew-1,Charlie-1,Brian-2,the one from the "museum"-1 and now this one....not a runner. Score this wagon if you have space to tuck it away.
  10. (edit) Scratch that....... Looked good at first, but it'd have to be free. That's still a good base for someone more local.Custom interior, have some fun and make the seats actually comfortable....some paint, tune up that little powerhorse 1300 and save $$$$$$. I've got parts to keep it going, but nothing to make it look much better.
  11. http://tucson.craigslist.org/rvs/179847125.html too much peyote...no,not me. Yup,upon closer inspection it's a waste of a good body from the 70's.
  12. Isn't that an 80-84 wagon up there? I looked kind of quick.Very cute....I guess if I lived in the desert I'd be driven to such activity.
  13. People are also making a form around the metal parts and pouring in urethane.
  14. We should be in PA next weekend. Need to hit Harrisburg......one.....last.....time..... .....so I'll see what I can do.I sure can't go wheeling with a load of parts.Especially since what's left is 99% sheetmetal and exhaust.Doh! If we wheel with you guys on Saturday I'll be camping somewhere or need a place to crash, between Hazelton and Harrisburg on Saturday night. Day to day,we'll see as the week goes on.
  15. One thing to keep in mind here. That computer shows what's IN stock through SOA....but not what a dealer may have in THEIR stock that they won't put back on the books-or let SOA know about. If you search, and ask often, you will find some parts in some dealer's lofts, closets, back shelves, etc. The buy back period for parts for our cars has long since passed. The dealer at this point is supposed to have disposed of that inventory or pay taxes on it if they report it as active inventory......so what do you think happens then? Ask,ask,ask...that's all I have to say. I'm not knocking subyluvr's research and effort, but if you look harder you'll probably come up with some more stock. Not everything,of course, because we all know how hard it is to find interior panels, etc. sitting on a shelf. There's already many many parts we'll never see again in new condition. Which brings me to the "Wish List"....print that sucker and take it with you or have it with you when you call on a dealer.Show them that there's an interest and most likely more items will appear for sale. We've all watched Center Subaru from Torrington,CT sell many vintage parts over the last 5 years or so.They wouldn't sell me anything that they didn't have on eBay...but I doubt that any of those parts was reported to SOA. I'm surprised we haven't seen more of the older dealerships doing the same. We've always expected dealers in VT,MA,NH,and the northeast in general to have a good stock of old parts and be selling them....but they must be SOA "Loyalists". But thanks for any research and reports on new old stock!
  16. Not sure. I contacted the owner before and after they listed it and removed it.I never got a second callback.I asked him to pass along my info to the owner if he sold it,but haven't heard anything. There's actually two ff-1's involved there. One is the young guy's and the other is in a garage of a lady doctor they know nearby. We're betting the doctors is more roadworthy. I hope they surface someday. Current ff-1 owners, enter and sign in,please.
  17. Anyone who even knows of anyone with an ff-1 sould contact me,or have the ff-1 owner contact me. We've acquired a heap of ff-1 parts in that stash from PA. Charlie who is part of the buying group owns a '71 ff-1 wagon and he's going to be very happy. But there's remainders that even good ol' Charlie won't be needing. I realize that there hasn't ever been an actual owner with a roadworthy ff-1 on this board, but the time has come to let any ff-1 owners know what's here for them. We also have some 360 parts but those will be tough to let go of.Andrew, who alegedly is still one third of the buying group :-\ (it'd be nice to hear from you,Andrew) will likely gather as much 360 stuff as he can. There may be remainders but I'm negotiating/trading with Ed Parsil (360 God of Gods) and will probably send him what 360 items are left.Just keep it in mind and try us,it's worth it if you own a 360.Worst we can do is say no. Parts are being inventoried a little at a time.Nothing is happening too quickly, but please let anyone know about this lot ASAP.I really don't want to move parts that I don't need into our next home. Thanks
  18. OK,so maybe you won't have the GLF soon.... I'll try to bring it up there anyways for kicks.
  19. Bring anything that rolls under its own power. Where are you these days? ...oh,that's where. Can you find Billy C while you're in GA? LOL
  20. Idea. But I'm pretty sure we're doing a family run to OBX in the fall.
