  1. Lost all contact with this thread.Too much going no right now.I want a set of louvers for the rear of any year coupe.Either generation,or both. Shipping would make it just too much,I think.
  2. I moved this to the right forum.Noticed that you double posted it too.Watch out,the mods have you in their sights.:-p
  3. Are they expecting any particular number before they designate a spot for you? I'll join in but if it looks like 3-4 people I'm going to bail out. You might have Connie's GLF in your hands soon. Count on me bringing the '78 up to Marcus if it happens.
  4. He's alive. Shall I choke him for you/us? Andrew,Charlie and I are going to Harrisburg with or without you.Not being mean, well ok maybe I am,but it's just the facts. We need to take care of our responsibility so please consider joining us.Looking like Saturday with an evening stayover or late drive back whichever you decide. Also looks like 3 vehicles.Charlie wants to see a friend on Sunday.I will probably bring Luc and dabble in some form of entertainment like 4Wheeling at Pine Barrens or hit an amusement park or something, depending on which vehicle we come down in. Yes,I know you spoke to me for a few seconds and that counts for something.....call me later, free time is best-after 9.
  5. If you make it before August I'll have to make it a quick visit. But for sure,I'll make the haul.
  6. New old stock. $49 per set of 2 as in set of front,or set of rear. Hoping to draw interest in whatever he has to make a better deal. I will check again about the 4WD,just give me a day or so.
  7. I'll check,but he knows I have a 4wd wagon,so I have to think he'd have listed them.
  8. No,it was a mid year entry. Here's a little story. I bought a Brat cloth cover and the owner told me he was coming up from some military camp, etc. in NJ and they were rolling the first Brat out in the USA for sale.He pulled in and bought it on the spot.First one,so they told him. This is right near S.O.A. back in Penshauken or however you spell it. And the year was 1977,so he said.
  9. Can one of you guys take the lot of gaskets destined for Canadians and handle the shipping to the gang? That'd be a heck of a lot easier and will save money on the tarriff. Thanks for any consideration. Paul
  10. That's too easy Todd. Could put your flush inlet right there too,I guess.
  11. I found a guy holding some Koni shocks and inserts. Here's an idea of what he has below.I do want a set for my '73 coupe,so keep that in mind and you guys are welcome to pick thru the rest. Let me know what you want and I'll attempt the big lot buy, which he said would make it a great deal all around.as it is now,he wants a solid $49 per set for most models. In his stock: 1 pair of 2wd ('72-75) fronts-taken by me 2 pairs of 2wd ('76-79) fronts His suppliers has left: 2 pairs of '72-75 2wd rears -one set taken by me 1 pair of '76-79 rear for 2wd He also has some '80-84 pieces as well. Let ne know if you want what's left and hopefully we can work out a good deal with him.
  12. If someone else goes by there check the "Wish List" thread, print it,and please consider making some money while helping someone out. :) I could use these parts assuming they're not cracking, pitted, chipped, etc.: Side mirror Air cleaner box complete Radiator if not corroded with overflow bottle shown Any good pieces of any windshield trim front or back Alternator AND brackets Steering wheel w/horn pad-cover Might consider some other parts from the interior. Elroy,if you're interested email or PM me and we'll talk. Thanks
  13. Woody,I thought you were selling your '79? Those heater cocks used to show up on eBay.Now they don't. I sold one of the two I had, wish I didn't. Not sure about rebuiling those.Might be able to fabricate a new one with some tubing, solder, and a cock.Got any plumbing experience?
  14. Hey,I just noticed that it's not far from Hagerstown. That's not so far out of reach at all, now. Are they open on Sunday?
  15. At his price it'll rust away to nothing. At that point he loses....actually,it's past that point. He lost. That car isn't worth $400 or anything close to it. THere's seemingly no interest in these cars anywhere near WV,so I don't know who's going to go out of their way for this one. I'll consider somehow stopping by if we can when we go on our little vacations this year, but it's kind of far out of the way for most of us with the older 70's Subarus. Most I think I'd offer is somethnig like $100 for anything I can walk out with (not just one trip to the car).
  16. Paypal to moosens@yahoo.com Thanks very much.Don't forget to pay the CN tarrif. The last guy I sent somethnig to in CN apparently screwed FedEx and now they're breaking my stones because. My account is still in good standing, but I'm not sure for how long if that tarrif doesn't get paid.Sorry to cry...thanks again.
  17. well as long as we make it you'll meet at least 4 this time.Me,my wife, and the two kids. East coast is different for the old gen crowd. But start a rumor that you're having an Impreza/WRX/Sti meet and you're bound to cause a traffic dilema somewhere.
  18. Are there enough Aussies and Kiwis to order a lot of 25 or more? Even if there were several more we can always add to our existing order if you let us know quickly.Look into shipping. They could go into those large envelopes and travel reasonably safe.My zipcode is 06604 in CT USA so feel free to check and I'll do what I can to help you out.I'm near FedEx,UPS,and US Postal as well as other carriers like DHL,etc.. About how many 70's cars and 1st Gen Brumbys would you say are still going down there??....judging by what you see and message board activity, etc. The gaskets are made in Taiwan.Perhaps PRP can arrange a drop shipment from the manufacturer instead of crossing the Pacific. Just a thought.
  19. Bump for getting more sold before I jack the price through the roof. Seriously everyone,it's time to chime in for the discount. Here's the latest.I made the deal today. Derek from PRP called me back and just like I thought would happen they got word from their manufacturer that the price for 25+ of a run to would be $35.94 each. That's a total of $898.50 according to Derek. He also said something about them covering shipping to them.Shipping to me I belive I'm still paying for when the time comes.Should be six to eight weeks, maybe slightly more untill I get them here. So,getting back to the begining of my post, please everybody do your best to get one and cover the payment through Paypal, check or money order as soon as possible.Nearly a grand I'm laying out here,so you bet I'm not giving a discount after this summer. You guys who paid the original price can take your time and send the difference with the shipping when the time comes. No sense doing extra work, getting extra fees,etc....we'll even up down the road. You guys who need more time but are saying you're 100% sure you're getting what you said you have a solid two months. But,you should already be one month into your setting aside the dough. Not to play mommy here, but please guys,do what you can to make things happen.I've got bills,mortgage,kids,tuitions,etc,etc,etc......wrappnig up a grand of my money right now doesn't float well.Money's tight all around, especially in the northeast. Know somebody who might use one but hasn't chimed in??? Ask them please to check this post, even if you're pretty sure they did already. This windshield gasket fits wagons and sedans perfectly. It can be used on a coupe but as Todd has mentioned not entirely perfect, but he doesn't complain of leaks in his GF. Thanks for all your help with this effort.
  20. gunna bump dis up all summah lawng.........:-p With this years scheduling issues we're REALLY looking forward to some weekend and extended weekend getaways....don't know about you,but the OBX is one of the most relaxing places to suck down that humonus chill pill we northeasterners need so badly.
  21. Cool, thanks,Jeff. They still showed one left in stock, but he wasn't betting on it being there.Nothing like fresh baked!
  22. Check the top of the intake manifold on the passenger side.Just near the carb. I'll try later to see what's supposed to be hooked up to the other ends.
  23. Well, they kind of did.At least in many states I know the last years of the Brat you couldn't get the jumpseats. That doesn't make all Brats illegal, just those last couple of years,if you installed them on your own. Nice reply,Mary.
  24. I like dogs too,but you're killing me.....:-p Nice ride,good luck with it.
