  1. Honda CBR600RRWheelbase54.5 inches Honda XR650LWheelbase57.3 inches Honda CRF450R Wheelbase58.7 inches Well, you're right! But if I throw on some cruiser.... Honda Shadow VLX Deluxe (583cc) Wheelbase63.0 inches
  2. Take one of these: Then add a 10:1 comp,dual carb EA63S and that'd be a GSR
  3. There's a guy here who has one.It runs and drives.
  4. Yes,watching them get stung several times while trying to figure out which direction they should attempt to flee in,that's the sport of it all.
  5. Just get the bike. Lots of streetbikes fit in a Brat bed.A dirtbike,no problem. Happy riding!
  6. Sorry to hear about the damage.Losers! Yes,the GSR is way too special to those who have some tie to the early years of Subaru. Dual carb'd 1400 w/93 hp at around 4800rpm(??) 10:1 pistons and a good amount more lobe to the cam.Sure they aren't worth what the Z cars of the early 70's are but to us they're worth dumping $2-3,000 USD's into them. My '73 Coupe will be about as close to the GSR as you're likely to find here in the USA.Except we got the lesser powered EA62
  7. 12in lift, Rancho shocks/steering stabilizer, built ER27, Nissan Tcase, 6 lug 15x10 wheels, 33x16in Swampers, Bushwhacker flares, top mounted radiator, BeCool fan, 18g fuel cell, Summit racing seats, RJS harnesses, custom bumpers, twin tube rollbar 4 KCs, diamond plate dash, Moroso battery box/ coolant recovery system, bedlined bed/bumpers/rails/trim/interior, programmable speedo, guage set, dual exhaust, K&N filter, Accell ign, winch, LSD Maybe we'll get to see all this money get muddy in MD..... THere's no off roading at Carlisle, but you'll want to roll your pants up anyways.
  8. Right,that's the A/C condensation drain.....just let it hang.
  9. We absolutely will be visiting our friends in Frederick,MD sometime before June. So,either way I'll be seeing a couple of you guys, hopefully.
  10. Looks like WagonsOnly and I are heading down to SVXperts place that weekend. But I don't think we'll be 4wheeling.Should be a pick up and return. Early April????
  11. If it's a large diameter hose it probably goes to the "trombone" pipe at the top of the intermediate pipe (longer mid-pipe) just rear of your tranny.
  12. sssssssssankyou! My sister inlaw tells me the car is nice 'n toasty!!!
  13. Ooooo, now there's an idea!!! If I have a 70's question I'll attatch a 70's flag to it so my dinosaur brothers 'n sisters can check it out.Dig it man,I want tie-die for the flag pattern dude!
  14. Your Y pipe should have a small tube rising up from around just before the cat.on the passenger side. One end of the flex tube goes on there...other on the airbox...you know the deal.
  15. Welcome fellow resident of CT!!! You're so lucky being up ther in the quiet corner.
  16. Nope, was my own idea. Have some fishing gear ready for me so I don't have to bring it all.
  17. Dude, you're 19 and in the Carolinas....up here when you get a little older and money is tighter you might want to do things just to stretch the life of a car a little longer. I'm not saying that's something I prefer to do,but it can be done. And with about as much effort as making pretty little caps for you portholes. The point is to just lift an intake and stuff a good block underneath.Call it what you want but if it works for a while, why not? We're talking about cars that are disappearing from the roads up here faster than you can say "the sherriff's got the best moonshine around". Some states have serious emissions standards as well.Lack of equipmnet is an automatic failure.Bye bye to a day of effort for lack of a few minutes more of effort.
  18. That's the one I was looking for.So I did give that to you in your load of XT stuff then.... Pat,if you can send it to Noah, that'd be great. Noah, you got a super deal on that tranny, please cover Pat for the shipping. WagonsOnly probably would have kicked my butt if we weren't the good friends that we are.(to the rest of you.....don't ask! )
  19. What,no picture of the little guy bench pressing the car with the jackstands hidden???? Bye Bye wagon, see you back as a washer/dryer combo!!!
  20. Intake manifold gaskets, for one thing. Does the new engine have both pumps on it? As long as the rear of the engine exposed you might as well do the rear main seal.Infact,do both the front and rear.Clutch kits are on eBay fairly cheap.
  21. One vote for 360-'79 + to '81 Brat Forum. I have yet to look at the other "New" forums here like Off Roading,Mod,Retro,etc... ...all don't mean a thing to me,sorry, but that's me,and that's you.
  22. Congrats guys! Let me know when you need a guest speaker at your meet.My fee is simple, just buy my plane tickets. Crab legs and salmon!!!
