  1. I'll be up there tonight for those willing. No real work outside since it's going to be cold and dark, but inside I'll be attempting to get some folk's items out for shipping. I'm comitted to stay there untill April.April should be our last month there. Cheers
  2. Same here,at least one set, maybe two if they really are that cheap. Rings would help.
  3. 2 things.... You'd better keep the wife and scratch the play date-my opinion. You get to go to lots of cool functions.I don't have to tell you about greasing the wheel..... And,I'll gladly testdrive the Loyale and get right back to you about it.
  4. You DO get around,Jesse.:-p Hey guys, the place looks like hell again!!! Actually not as bad as it looks....the coupe will be rolled out next weekend if it's over 40 degrees outside.
  5. Is you EA71 pre-'79? The fittings on the Air injection is different. Also the starter is top center on the older ones. This one is off to the side like all other EA81 ans EA71 after 1980??Correct me on the year, please if I'm wrong.Brats with EA71 in 1980 and 81 I believe still use the top starter.
  6. We've had a Jeep with us before....thankfully,for one certain situation.(nope, wasn't for my sake) Cool,he's ok with me.Screws wood, strokes the keys....a regular guy. Hey,I forgot to brag!! My son beat me at chess!!!! I do NOT play to let him win.I've beaten him about a dozen times since he started playing seriously and was just hoping he'd stick it out.I kept telling him he's getting better. He kept looking a little more disappointed each time he lost, but he did it.I'm more proud for his tenacity.I knew he'd eventually beat me."That's 7 and a HALF years old, dad.I'm not a little kid anymore"....(read:move over Rover!) Proud Pop Fivespeed
  7. If she's truely in need of parts I'm sure a bunch of us can help her out.Thankfully she's healthy...right?
  8. Plenty of two wheel drive vehicles go through there. It's sandy roads. The driving trails are typically loose sand. Not much actual dirt.We can,and likely will hit water holes and maybe a touch of dirt/mud as we know it.I kind of want to go fairly soon, but not too soon.If the weather stays mild and fairly snowless it'll still be a little loose and greasy but not as crazy as going in with ice and snow or even the few days after it's melting. That kind of would be cool with a lifted vehicle and the right tires but I'm not in that league right now. You can always show up and leave it out on the grass and go with someone else.Folks have shown up in 2WD cars and chickened out,I mean uhh,sat in the kiddie seat...
  9. Oooooooo, just have to wait untill tonight.Call before you fly down here. Not sure if I'll catch Melis or not.I doubt she wants to wait to go home untill later, but you never know.
  10. Ask Dave,he knows where to go.Check those links above,Melis. We meet either at the diner at the intersection of rt's 206 and 70 or at the ranger station in Atsion, just south of the diner by about 5-10 miles. There's a big grassy area where you'll see a bunch of dorks with their hoods up,etc......
  11. Getting itchy here....... ..like last year,I'll go alone if that's the case but company is always appreciated.
  12. Connie?Connie who?Is there still someone named Connie around here??? j/k sweety, glad you're having a great time with the new guy!!!! rock n' roll Melis,I'll be a little busy during the morning and into the afternoon but call me.Get the number from Dave or send your number to me and I'll call you Sunday early afternoon. Hey,there was a mini-meet up there today and NOT a single person there was aware of any get together.Andrew doesn't really go on the board lately,my brother I think isn't even on the new board, and Scotty came down,he's hardly on here anymore too.Was kind of cool.Anyhow, time for my jabberjaw to get to sleep.Call me if you can.
  13. I'll be there all afternoon today, and back later tonight. Stop by if you can.
  14. Sure,I'll be up there Saturday night,but not untill later,like 9 PM
  15. hehehe....... ...but seriously, that one time where EJ was door deep in muck over by the power lines, huge field of mud. It was at least two in one pull.I pulled the last car which was daisy chained to the next one or two cars.My son will probably remember. He actually reminds me of that once in a while.
  16. And I'll show up in something Subaru that has already yanked lifted Brats and lifted Hatches out of the mud.......and not a bit away from stock! Hey,one time at Pine Barrens I pulled TWO cars out with one pull!! Or was it THREE cars???? The family truck I call it. You call it a touring wagon.:-p
  17. I know I'm not paying you for the Gen I......but was just kind of lumping it into the whole equation......sort of.I do need that turbo wagon buttoned up and I'm even willing to pay for it at this point. I'll email or PM in a minute.
  18. Yeah, nose UP like the people you live amongst!!
  19. You could roll any sheet of most anything flat to the stone/glass with a roller like making a countertop.
  20. Bummer,I believe I just tossed a grey rear seat.If it's still there I'll let you know. Yo Steve, did you call me yesterday?
  21. http://www.pineypower.com/ http://www.state.nj.us/pinelands/ http://www.njpinebarrens.com/ http://www.nps.gov/pine/ Where we meet is firstly at the Red Lion Diner at the intersection of rts. 70 and 206.You'll get off exit 7 of the NJT'pike and head south.Naturally, you're welcome to meet up with me and attack en force. The Diner is about 20 minues from the exit. After a morning feed,we head south for another 10-15 minutes to Atsion-where there's a ranger station and large grassy area/parking. There's another off road spot down the road as well in back of Atco drag strip.Gotta love the noise.
  22. Right on Frank! Yes,there should be a little green light I believe.I think my '87 says "turbo"...or maybe it's "remember your license!!"...not sure.
  23. Same method only upside down....use a nice piece of granite held down to a table and the same spray adhesive or double sided tape to hold the emery cloth down. Cheap granite pieces can be has at your local stone/tile shop....check the dumpster.I've gotten mine off of jobsites when the rich and famous toss out thousands of dollars worth of granite countertops. A machine shop going out of business will also have perfect tables for you, used for checking tolerances and squareness, etc. They'll be a little more pricey, but perfect. Ghetto, but effective enough for the backyard,mega-mile Subaru. Stone(the right ones) won't crack as quick as glass. And it won't warp as glass does too.
  24. Well, come up with a certain spot where we can legally off road and I'm sure a flock will gather. So far the Pine Barrens has worked out well, being that there's a good amount of PA and Jersey people who will actually show up. Me,I'd love to all meet here and terrorize country clubs. FORE!!!!!!!!!
