Mostly I'm looking to make one for the rear of my Brat and "Loyale" wagon to be able to retrieve other old Subarus with.So what I want should be able to hook up to another Subie,like Miles did,nice and snug.Of course the older the cars get up here the more you need to worry about the tow hook ripping off of the unibody.I don't think I'll be doing too many more 80's cars after this spring.But when a sweet one pops up I'll need to be ready. Soon,it'll be Imprezas and Legacys.I can't even think of what my wife's Legacy wagon looks like underneath I've work on it so little.(knock on wood).Are the Imps and Legs also tow hook equiped.(now you know I'm dyed in the wool old school)LOL! I don't have any extra in primo condition but I do have some really nice ones that Trogdor brought up for me.they're just a hair shy of primo,very acceptable for most rides. I ended up finding an '86 with the darker blue in primo cond. that I'm going to use.....one of these days. Email or PM if you want them please.

Let's see.....Wed. the upper plains,Thurs. the Ohio valley,looks like you're going to have one hell of a good time since you'll hit here on the weekend.Man,I wish I had room for you,maybe i can just let you use the workshop,I've got plenty of padding,super duper sub zero sleeping bags.There's no heat because I don't use the place that much,etc,etc....But there's a toilet,sink,coffee maker,small fridge,microwave,and a half dozen places to eat just a walk away,and hundreds of places to eat nearby. I hear there's going to be a big drop in temps this weekend after the warm spell.You'll be headed back through the chill,but it's January. Talk to you soon.

It's snowing here but should hit 60 degrees on Thursday....go figure.Roads aren't too bad on the shoreline. That's what your trip is really all about,meeting people,taking a little time and enjoying it.I really hope you are enjoying it.Too often I find myself not able to relax as much or as long as I should because I have that itch to always get onto the next thing to do. No hurry on my end.The longer you take the better.If you get here Friday that'll be really great.We can really throw a hell raisin' hootinanny(spell check me,I'm a city boy dammit).Or if it's Saturday or Sunday I sure won't cry.
