  1. ....which is why i'm checking back.....cleaning house, sooner the better. Thanks
  2. Yes-'89 FSM No-scanner due to lack of memeory,etc.....I'll see what I can do.
  3. I'm sure it's typical rust that won't damage the structure for another few years. But,I can't tell without looking.Good luck with it Eric. If you get it to Nebraska maybe it'll stop rusting....at least slow down. Eric, remove the fender's lower bolts and move the plastic wheel well aside and get the crap out from behind there.Wash the insides of all wheel wells but especially the rear.Get the crap out from around the gas filler tube too.
  4. Scott, let me know what sort of arrangement you're working up for the shell. I'm gone from July 3-10
  5. I think I can help you out.I just hope you're not in a hurry. I have a complete suspension from a '75 4WD wagon, same style-same generation. It'll be rusty but functional. It's heavy surface rust but nothing rotted out. You are talking about the hub that the strut bottom attatches too, correct? Or do you mean the top end that has the rubber mount with 2 studs coming through?I doubt I have any good ones.If I did I'd hold them. *
  6. drooling here.......I lean towards stock when it comes to vintage but that's a beauty! I'll be ready for one just like that in a couple years. Please keep my info incase you ever want to dump it off and move on.
  7. Last of the carby's......not exactly something dream of having but for free it'll be a solid base to work with. Those carb's aren't really all that bad but it ain't no SPFI,etc. either.
  8. Very cool for New Canaan!! Hope to see you soon.Next Saturday will probably be best.Got your email.Talk to you soon.
  9. With a board name like yours I'd have thought you have them already LOL I know of a few that I keep neglecting to go get.The guy wants like $40 each....but I think he'll let them go cheaper in a package,if he still has them.I really have no time lately to go there but I'll dig his number out and call.If he says the magic words I'll make the time and go get them.
  10. No Matt,sorry....I started a new job this week.I have them sitting ready to go and will take them with me Monday, and go by FedEx right after work. pardon the excuses....been a wild week.
  11. We will be there through August but not likely after that. Guys, don't chump out.I know we're all busy but please consider stopping by for the big finally,if not sooner.Don't make me whip out the guilt trip blab, telling you all how good I've been to you,etc.etc,.... Come on folks, help me out if you can but let's at least make an attempt at one last day of meet 'n greet, show 'n eat....and take some parts home. Thanks for your consideration.
  12. Richard in CA has contacted me. Moderators can delete this thread, thank you.
  13. Please contact me.Thanks This is not the FPRC(?) that Sweet82 is looking for. This is a metal part that hoses go onto. You sent me a diagram of an intake manifold with one. I've had the part sitting there for a while now but lost the info.Very sorry.
  14. Bump Thanks Brusbros for offering, and a few others as well. I know it's tough for me to get time lately so I understand if we just can't seem to get together.New gig, much to do....and the kids too. Nights are best for me for anyone wishing to help out. Don't forget the good part-there's always parts to go home with you for helping and most likely I'll have food/beer/beverages...and you get to hear some of my best jokes......and witness hilarious ball breaking if Andrew and I are in form.
  15. I should be out of my rental unit in Milford before the end of August. For those who've not been there it's the "coffeehouse" of Subarus. It's also kind of a Subaru parts department for 70's through 80's and then some.Part museum, part repairshop, and my personal hangout. No wife or kids up there so the end of a great era,for me is nearly over. All are welcome.I'd like to see if folks can make it a mini-meet like I did last year.Let me know what dates are good for you folks for the GRAND FINALLY!!!! I need some help here and there in the meantime so any locals who can give me some time please try to call and help if you can.Don't go nuts,I know everybody has things to do. I was thinking July 17/18th I don't have a truely open weekend between now and then. But don't think I won't be up there at all.I'll be there on weekends and whenever possible from now untill I'm out of there. So,anyone who wants to help out please call.Even if you can give me an hour or two it goes a long way.Right now I need it to be good weather so I can take stuff outside and sort/box/label/toss,etc.etc. Talk to me. I've got a fridge, freezer, microwave,Coleman stove,am willing to actually cook this time(for the Grand Finally) and there's plenty of other food around too. Oh,and there'll probably be some beer there too.Much tire smoking when the place is done with. I'm working all the time now so daytime during the week is out of the question for any assistance.Nights are always the best.Nice and cool and no people around the industrial park. If Zap comes down for that weekend it'll be a bail bond event for sure.
  16. it was Qman and SubieGal....:-p just kiddin' Ken I also had a sweet wagon at the Stop 'n Shop from WA not long ago but it was an EA82 wagon. Ever go over to Faust in Allentown?I'm curious if the Gen I brat is stilll in the back corner. Was camo painted, has solid fenders.....was a couple of years ago now.
  17. edit-sorry but my keyboard goes whacky on me sometimes. Art,calll me sometime. Was wondering about all those parts you had.I emailed you through eBay but never heard from you. Phone number is the same.Email if you need it again.Glad to see you rockin and rollin.I knew those powerlines would make for some fun sometime. So,can I come up and play?
  18. .....Damn,and I thought I liked you Eric!!! LOL I'd sell something and get the hatch if you wanted to dump it off on me.Otherwise I just don't have the ambition to do it.I've seen EJ's and Mike's at Pine Barrens, and Bruce's lifted ZRBrat-but I know what the rust situation is and approach it realistically.I've always said Subarus are the Bic lighters of cars. They're a dime a dozen down here and you just use them and toss them,go get another. So putting all that effort into one kind of doesn't appeal to me from this standpoint. And,I'd practically never get to use it properly-except for crushing Hondas. Eric,I'm going to PM my cell #.Feel free to call as you need to.Night and weekends free baby!!! OK,just emailed through the board.-edit
  19. What, you didn't ask Bluebird?LOL If you're more concerned with the winter driving go for the narrower (165). Brus,My friend and tow guy is the manager at Town Fair.Great cash deal! Just call me and I'll let him know you're coming. It's not a shady deal,he just writes it up as a shop sale. I've gotten some excellent Toyos for both our cars. He'll also gladly set you up with a less expensive set-which I'd guess you want to put on there given the life expectancy of the wagon.Call me.I'm now working during the day but I'll get back to you soon if you leave a message. Konrad-you are here in CT now, right? Stop by and take some stuff home.... *
  20. Sooner or later everything shows up there...just not real pretty. Any GL-10 stuff?Turbo's?
  21. Let me know when you're ready for the City. Brad, you at the Cape for the season? We're hitting downeast Maine the week of the 4th.Let me know if you're there around Friday/Saturday July 10/11th.
  22. There's a roadster kit available. The weasel scumbag that ripped me off had one.Gee,too bad,but somebody ran the car over..... Sorry, but that's the only Subaru XT I ever saw with one and I'm still a little pissed. Good luck.
  23. Sounds like a heater hose to me. I think it's left side in(to heater core) and right side out.Not that that matters but you do want the correct one.I think one has a bend in it and the other is not as bent.....too bad I don't have any EA82's here at home or I'd double check for you.
