Jesse,if you can make it down with some tools the car is there and will probably not be picked up untill Monday morning.Take what you need but don't get hurt please.It's the obvious parts car-red touring wagon. Use heat,works every time for me.Yes,I've had some real bears on those rear stubs,sometimes they just take a while and lots of frustration.Heat,PB Blaster,Heat again.....should get it.Good luck. I might go out for a late nighter in a few minutes if you're crazy enough to waste a Saturday night. Sunday is out,maybe at night but not in the day.Stop down anytime before Monday and take what you want.Enjoy!

'84 4WD wagon.Hydraulic lifters....right Chris?I'll double check but if it's the adjustable type I have the tool.But it still seems like something else. Any ideas why it won't tick all the time? I have an oil pump re-seal kit ready to go in.I'll do it if needed but this problem seems to be something different.Can you explain,Mr.Spock? Again,it's an intermittent problem....not consistant.My chest pops out when it's quiet.My ego deflates when I pick up my son at school and it sounds like I'm driving a giant wrist watch....the old kind. tick tick tick

This is all about getting Ken paid so I can get my parts from him.I'd have written a check by now but I thoguht I'd just let that money from the car take care of the parts.....and it just sucks that Carlisle is almost here and I really wish I already had my exhaust part....but that's life. Worst case I spring for a rig up job from Midas. I'm completely understanding in most matters,but lack of communication....well,that tends to piss people off.But again,not going to trash a very busy woman,being a very busy man.I've got contracts I'm working on,trying to pick up work,collect money,etc.etc,etc AND KIDS!!!!.......so racing doesn't cut it for me as an excuse not to at least communicate.It takes about 30 seconds to type and send the email I needed to feel comfortable. Also,she took great offense to my asking her to please communicate.Why? Let's just tie the ends together and hoist this line in the water and let it drift away from shore once and for all. Well that makes one of us.....personally I don't see why this re-surfaced.It's May,the grass is green and my plow sits at Wagon78's place.....but go ahead and talk it up as long as there's some sense being made. I now find myself with a decent plow vehicle,or two,or three...so come next fall I'll be hot on this again.Right now I could care less. Hint-it's a good time to make me an offer on the plow.....

Looks nice but not for $3000.....good luck with it.I sold my '76 DL1600 Automatic to a guy in Sweden for $2,000.Mine had 37K on it and the interior was near flawless. Good luck,hope it hits at least $1500 for you.To expect any more might set you up for a disappointment. Personally,if I were the guy knocking on her door I'd be starting at around $200.My '78 wagon was bought for $350 with 70K on it and extremely solid.But I did pay $875 for the '76 mentioned above.

Well,the weather sucked,and we didn't really go nuts parting out vehicles but it was great to meet Leaking Oil and her daughter.Always a pleasure to have "hocrest" Dave up here too. Thanks a million to Dave for helping me with the touring wagon.I've got a good idea on how to keep the carrier well braced.Hopefully I'll be able to keep the touring wagon and trash it at Pine Barrens one more time,or more. For any of you who are fairly local I still have a couple of cars to part out and more in the works...maybe,if I deceide to bother with them.I just need to be sure my tow guys can take them immediately upon stripping. I've decided to strip the '84 4wd wagon after all. Too many cars that really should be driven a while longer.Bummer but that's life. Cheers!

No ECU in there.I'd say the alternator is not working properly.Probably the diode.Cuts off the fuel to prevent sparking upon collision.Should be more like 15 seconds,not 30 so maybe I'm wrong. Next I'd suspect the Voltage Regulator. Good luck.

For those not knowing it'll be at 230 Woodmont Rd. Sorry for the loss. Where in NC are you located?

My opinion from experience here on the east coast is that $350 front to rear is expected,and not too bad.We all want to pay less but I've never been able to do a front to rear exhaust job for less than $300.Add hardware and gaskets and you're right around $350 evey time. Good luck,let us know what you find because I need to do at least 2 cars complete.
