Going up later tonight after 9:30.I'll probably just move the car into position and maybe get a few things going.Sunday morning I'll be busting butt on it.Might not lift the engine untill Sunday night,we'll see.Hoping to get a sucker,I mean helper and get it over with early.I need the car gone by Monday AM. I'm hoping on getting out to Harry's in Hazelton and Faust in Allentown in the next couple of weeks.Anyone want to join up? Parting out an '83 D/R wagon.Could use a good buddy with a strong back for the engine.I'll be taking the easy route by cutting the rad support entirely away.It's already cut in the center.Car had a front end colision. 230 Woodmont Rd. in Milford,CT Exit 40 off I-95 only seconds from the highway.Always good fun and exercise too! I'll make coffee or buy beer,or both.Lots of food near me. Andrew,Chris,and other CT members,if you guys can help for even just a few minutes call me on the cell phone and let me know.I'll likely have the engine ready for lifting by the afternoon.I'll use the rolling jack method so there won't be any real serious lifting required.With the rad support gone it'll be sweet,trust me,been there done that.I'll score lunch at Duchess for the guy who lifts with me. *MAJOR* shop cleaning to start immediately after so be there for the FREE pickins.

My money is with Russ.It sounds like the little hose from under the intake to the T-stat housing.My opinion:change the intake manifold gaskets,turbo feed and return hoses and turbo gaskets and live comfortably for a while.Don't forget the hose with the foil wrap too. If money is way tight then at least the intake gaskets and the little hose at the same time.

And sometimes it's just a matter of putting your foot into the pedal and getting that oil to pump up that lifter. Moshe did just that when I changed his oil pump and after a minute of high revs or less,it went so quiet we damn near started jumping up and down.Nothing like doing the right thing and still worrying you screwed up somehow.That oil need to pump that lifter up.Good luck.I hope it's that simple.Otherwise I'm with the O ring theory and excess sealant theory.
